I think of it this way:
Some people have a lot of self control, and know exactly how their mind and body works. Addictions are all in the mind, and they can be overcome. It's just that most people's minds are too weak for this. For those that can, smoking one cigarette a week isn't going to hurt you anymore than anything else, if you stay healthy and fit. Sure, it doesn't help you, but if you enjoy it, why not? It's just like drinking alcohol once in a while, or candy, for that matter. However, since most people aren't strong enough to do this, they shouldn't even start. I, don't know if I could, or would, and therefore I am not going to try. I suggest that others don't either. If you can do it keep yourself under control, and smoke very little, than why not? It's not going to hurt you anymore then pollution, bad food, and McDonalds is.
