Well technically armor lock is very real in the Haloverse, just the initial 'version' was that which we see in Halo 3 with Master Chief's suit.
But Elites I'd say of the 7 abilities, all of them are easily canon except AL.
Sprint: (elites can't use) but eh, anyone can sprint.
The Halo Reach sprint is a loosening mechanism of the suit to allow for more stress caused by running. Which probably explains why it's limited, because it's dangerous.
Jet Pack: as you said, we see them throughout the games so they don't need to explain why it's here.
Armor Lock: aside from the AL previously described, and the Chief situation where we see it in action, the Halo Reach AL is completely new.
Hologram: definitely possible, we see the heretics use them during Halo 2, an alternate (less sophisticated) form of this technology isn't too hard to imagine, since Halo 2 saw attacking and reacting holograms.
Evade: diving...we've seen it throughout the series, much like Jet Pack, now we can use it, no need to explain it's entry into Reach.
Camo: same as evade and/or jet pack.
Drop Shield: probably a human rendition of the bubble shield in Halo 3, but since it's a human adaptation it would show why it isn't as good (can only take so much fire) though my knowledge of the Drop shield is limited.
* forgot to hit quote for who I was responding to, owell. This was a response to whoever said only Jet pack and camo could be explained and that the rest were solely for gameplay.
