Subject: Bungie is hiring for the PS3?

I seen an advertisement in the main website about Bungie looking for more people to work on something with the PS3 brand.

Is this suppose to be some sort of April Fools prank or something?

No it's not...

They're going multiplatform with their new IP.

It's not a joke. Bungie announced last year that they signed a ten-year multi-platform publishing contract with Activision. They've had PS3 jobs popping up in their careers section for months now.

Racism isn't wrong if it's funny.

No. One of the reasons (probably) they went independent is to branch out to that part of the market. Plus, Activision is publishing Bungie's games now and Activision has a huge market for PS3.

So in all likelihood we can expect to see Bungie's games going cross platform.

Do some research before you post. As the saying goes about assumptions...

You know what, you're right. If I was a highly successful game developer I would only want to work on one platform for the rest of my career too. I mean c'mon, why would a massive conglomerate publisher, who's target market consists of many PS3 users, really want to break a way from the platform exclusive model. After all, less people mean more money...right?

/sarcasm
Yeah, Xbox is the best. Suck it PS3!

They're with Activision, not EA and thats sort of one of the reasons they went independant. Microsoft wanted Bungie to keep making Halo games and nothing else and Bungie wanted to do new things. Theres a few other reasons but I don't remember them all.

Damn it! I knew something seemed out of place when I wrote EA. How about WRONG COMPANY.

Exactly. I think the guys at Bungie probably also want to tap that part of the market. I mean, that's always been one of the primary arguments against people who say 'Xbox is great 'cause it has Halo'.
