Face your fear, then consume it to give yourself strength.

Who cares? I'm glad Bungie is going multi-platform. I don't understand why people are making such big deal out of this. It's not like Bungie is abandoning the Xbox.

By the way, they announced they were going multi-platform a LONG time ago.

What's the big deal about their games going multiplatform?

It could lead to alot more lag on the systems. Take Homefront or Black ops They are really laggy expecially Homefront. But Halo being only on xobx and having dedicated servers there isnt nearly as bad lag. But if they go multiplatform who knows if there servers will still be able to handle it.

?
You do know that each console runs on completely different servers, right? The Xbox's Black Ops runs on different servers as the PS3's. They do not share servers.

Im dont know that much about how the servers work but Bungie being independent will they be able to afford to have the servers for all the systems? Unlike activison who has tons of cash.

If they were to go Multi-console, they would have to make several servers to go alongside it. An Xbox Server is not compatible with PS3's.

But are they expensive? Im trying to say that Bungie isnt as rich as other companys and Im worried they may have to sacrifice some of there xbox servers and sell them or some other -blam!- to afford PS3 ones.

Bungie not being rich? It is perhaps the richest independent company.

Yes but im saying all that money that got from Reach is going to run out at some point and we have no idea when there next game is coming out. Will they be able to back up there servers when the games release happens. And if not, alot of people might start bashing Bungies servers and this might lead to alot of people not buying the game and there goes a 3 years of work on a game go to waste. (note that these are extreme predictions some of the worst possibilities. Im just trying to continue this conversation.-lol) sorry on grammer :[

They've been building up money since Marathon. That would last a long time.

Anyways, I do believe that it is the Producer's job to provide the servers.

it's called multi-platform. If you haven't been living under a rock, this shoulda been something you'd be expecting after their deal with activision.
