Subject: Halo Evolutions vol. 1 or 2?

I'm about to buy Halo Evolutions on iBooks, but there are two versions and I'm not entirely sure which is the one I should buy. There's volume 1, and volume 2. I've heard that volume 1 comes with all the stories, while volume 2 has less stories. I'm not sure if those stories are different than volume 1 or what . . . in other words, should I buy volume 1 or 2 of Evolutions?

Thanks!

If the book actually says Vol. 1 or Vol. 2 then you won't run into any repeat stories. The problem with the repeat stories in Vol. 2 was that the Evolutions were originally all released in one book, simply titled Halo: Evolutions. There are now 2 books containing all stories, so get either one. I read both and liked them both very much. Hope i helped :)

We are all going to get banned aren't we?

Get V2 so you can get the extra stories.

- Dragon Ball/Z/GT and it's merchandise are awesome.
- All "abriged" parodies are hilarious.
- Humanity, as a whole, is stupid.
- I have asperger's syndrome
- This is the best used 20 seconds of your life
- Official helper to the Halo: Reach - The Armor You'll Be Wearing This Fall! Thread

Get both, you'll have all the original stories and the bonus ones.

By the power of truth, I, while living, have conquered the universe.

Volume II has the best stories in it.

I have the original Halo: Evolutions book.

However, they then split it in half and published it in two volumes with a few extra stories in each, so you'd be better off buying the volume 1 and volume 2 versions. That way you get all the stories.

Unfortunately for me I'm now missing the extra couple they put in the separate volumes, but I don't feel it's worth me buying them since I have the majority in the original publication.

OMG a Pwny!

OK, there was Halo Evolutions, but I believe it is out of print and was big, it's the trade paperback version. To convert it to mass market it would be insanely huge, so it was split into two books, and an extra story was added to each volume. Volume 1 and 2 is the original single volume split up, plus two stories.

Get both, volume 1 now and volume 2 when you finish it.

Contrary to popular belief this is not Microsoft money grubbing, this is common practice in all books. Especially ones the size of Evolutions, nobody whines because Lord of the Rings is in three books in mass market size. At least they threw in new stories and artwork for our trouble.
