well, My idea for a multiplayer map would be an urban map. this map would be modeled after new york city, in a state of disrepair after a long covenant seige. There would be completely destroyed buildings, and some just a little damaged, that would offer great sniping spots, and spots to use a rocket or granade very effectively. The map would feel alot like stalingrad in bf1942, only it would be larger both upwards and would feature larger open(ish) spaces, where snipers could really rule the battle field. Both teams could use hight to there (massive) advantage, or traverse the landscape either running from cover to cover, or stalking the mostly destroyed sewers alot of the map would be medium to close quarters, making good use of the battle rifle. banshies wouldn't be in the fight but all other vehicals would, althogh they couldnt rule the battle because of all the great spots to snipe, rocket, and granade from. there could be holes in the ground, that one could drop into, and travel a short distance in a sewer main into an enemy base or strong held spot, that the sewermain or storm drains would lead too. THe flags could be in buildings on opposite sides of the map, where they could be well defended, but could be attacked from above, for example a flag might be on teh second floor of the building, but someone could climb up to the third(bypassing the second(this is important)) drop a granade, and grab the flag. A cool gametype would be a game type from battle field 1942 were the teams have to try and take the entire map, but cant do stupid suicide charges for loss of men.
Another cool map would be an ardens- forest type map in winter. it would feature tall trees, and a vilage witha mill. it woudl be really hilly with alot of broken ground for cover. it would be a center flag game, where the flag would be in a central village in a valley, and the other team woudl try and take it using their high ground to their advantage.
