(is this a mod) like shootgun shot 12 plasmas and pistol is a sniper)

I think a level with trenches would be cool. They could have grates over the top of most of them so that vehicles could drive over 'em with periodic gaps so that the player can leave the trench. These trenches could vary in height so that if one didn't want to be seen that person could simply duck down. Gun turrets could be stationed along the trenches. Teleports at the end of the trenches could bring the players close to the bases or the players could make a dash across a mostly barren landscape ('barren' to force the use of the trenches). There could be multiple trench 'lines'. Two would work well, one per team (maybe more for 3 or 4 team games) and they would connect at a critical junction making a 'killzone' that could potentially make for insane games.

That's my 2 cents.

I haven't read them all, but the few that i read all seamed to be great snipers posting hahaha, I would create something that had in close areas in like a tower, but with holes all over and like 4 towers in oposing corners thats the best

A swamp level. One with so much detail you fell like you need to take a bath after playing it. Rainfall, fog, and the creepy sounds that crickets make. And since I mentioned rainfall it would be nice to have a map the reflect the maps from Myth. Several large hills with valleys. Weather effects. Hey...I got millions of more ideas for MP maps. Does anyone know if Bungie will allow downloadable maps?

The best M.P. Map for me would be anything that allows a lot of close-range goodness. A small level with many levels would be great. Weapons? Well, Shotgun, Assault Rifle, and Needler definitely! It would also be great if it were dark so that you couldn't see enemies until you were right on top of them. Melees galore!

a medeival castle with a courtyard for ghosts and warthogs. long hallways for firefights and weapons in every corner. with a few bottomless pits.

I think you should build on what is already a masterpiece. You have a bunch of great Multiplayer maps made so use them, Imagine Sidewinder with underground tunnels all around the whole level. I know there are already tunnels. I am talking about smaller tunnels under and around all the cliffs and stuff.I dunno. its just everytime I play a games sequel I wish to god there were some of the multiplayer levels from the previous versions. When something is great, you shouldn't always take it away.

All I gotta say is NIGHT TIME BATTLES that would be sweet fighting on any level and having the option of making it night time or not all you see is bullets flying around and masterchiefs lights elites can have night vision er something

my level would be a large city with tall buildings which you would be able to get on top of if you used the elevator or use a banshee.on top of the buildings would be turrets and inside the building you would be able to sniper through the windows.on the streets would be overturned cars,trucks,and even tanks. there would also be towers with turrets inside. the flags of each team would be in the tallest building.there would also be a river in between each team wich could be crossed by a bridge .the bridge would have two turrets on each side.there would also be tunnels that lead to the other teams buildings. the buildings would also have basemets where the tunnels would be located.

AN UPDATE TO MY MAP.

to make the map not take half an hour i would make teleportes that only go down.but u would still be able to use the elevators.the elevators would be large enough to fit a tank, so use could set it on the roof if your turrets get destroyed.the tunnels would be able to fit a ghost or atv for real get aways.each team would get 3 tanks 4 warthogs 3 ghosts 3 atvs and 3 banshees.the level would have all the guns.some easy 2 find and others hiden.

In my map i would also put a hanger or something like that so the other team could destroy your sorce of car.I would also put a place in the basement where you can find weapons and medkits and camo.if the building does get destoyed the flag would land on top of the destoyed building.the building and the cars would respawn in 4 minutes.during that time you could use other buildings for protection but have less turrets on top so you can be easily attacked from underground.land.or air.if the bridge in the middle gets destroyed you can cross it with the cars put it would take longer.also the tunnels could sometimes cave in on you if a building over it falls down or if a huge explesion inside the tunnels happen like a car exploding.also the turrents on top would be anti-air and anti-land so no ghosts or atvs can sneek in.the entrance to the building would be a telepoter which would lead to a couple of eleavators.some of the rooms that you could go into would have a sniper rifle and other things like secret passages to other rooms where weapons like the plasma sword are located.If you like my idea send me a E-mail at devheadshot@earthlink.net and if any one from bungie is reading this can you use some of my stuff for multiplayer.

i agree wholefartedly. they should definatley re-make gulch and sw and a few others. it would be intresting to play chill with dual weilding. its mad chaotic as it is. that would be sick.

Two bases, each housed on its own plateau like island in the middle of the ocean. Each base will be very small, just enough room for 4 banshees (or however many people are on a team), a small base for spawning points (and the flag if CTF), some anti-aircraft turrets, and maybe a sniper tower. The whole point of this map would be air combat. Banshee dogfights and air assaults. And if you die, you'll fall in the ocean *splash!* Think about it, a squadron of Banshees, with a flight leader and wingmen. hehehe...

and i'm reading stuff about "razors"? human aircraft, equivalent to its convenant counter part, the banshee? is this true? or some fictitious fact? perhaps someone could shed some light on this for me.

Also, some of these ideas are very good - combat with the lights turned off, niiiice...heat vision or night vision goggles...muwahahaha!

Mine would be one base with very good defences and the attacking team would spawn in pelicans flying of the coast and have to fight their way up the beach to the base and then capture the flag and take it back to their pelicans. kinda like a one sided CTF, mixed with D-Day.

I would make a very intricate cave system that has a meeting place in the center of all of them. There would be like 5 or 6 tunnels on each side and a few deade ends. Also I would make it really dark and creepy, so it will be very cool when you run into someone, kind of like a suprise. And maybe, make a pit in the middle of the meeting room that kills you if you fall in it. If you need a visual, I can draw something up

Ok, if you've read the books, this will be like it:
A ship, floating in space, you can go in it or float around it. you all have jet packs and if you and an enemy are floating and he meles you you fly off into space and die! after like 45 sec something happens call "reiforcments" and a ship of each team flys in, docks, everyone who died gets out, and the ships leave. tada!

This is an easy map that can be put in before 11/9. Just mirror the first part of 2 Betrayals. The part with the frozen waterfall. Each team has a tower with a flag, a warp at the base of the tower takes you to the land bridge. The invisible should be at the bottom of the two giant angled beams, in the cracks of the earth. Then someone can get it and walk all the way up, battlecreek style. This is easy to make because its already a level, just split it. It would be semetrical, and a good size.

My map if I Could make it...

One base in a crashed ship the other is a ground base not to far from the ship
In between the two is a deep river that a scorpion tank would have no problem being engulfed into. there is one bridge *destructible* once destroyed shallow water is underneath you can walk through it but slower then usual and sprinting isn't abled.
On the Ground base side there are tree's,bushes etc. Their base is very rugged like they have been there a little to long.
For the crashed ship it is a of a considerable size having 2 decks about 1200 flong 500 fw
There are three way's into it through the door's which are plasma windowed and open when approached and the last way is through the damaged areas throughout the ship.
Vehicles for the ship are contained in the back of it covered by boulders *ships engines must be turned on to incernerate them once done it is a unsealable passage* The ship contains Ghosts, and other alien like ships....
For the rugged base they have 1 scorpian tank 2 warthogs a stationary turret.

The level Halo is cool, so is the begining of Truth and Reconciliation.

A level like Battlecreek with a waterfall in the middle. You wouldnt be able to see to the other side.

343 GS the swamp part would also be cool.

We should be able to adjust the lighting. CHILL OUT PITCH BLACK

my perfict level would be a level like blood glutch ecept a lot longer and the bases would be 3 stories tall with no entrences on the front (but with destrotyable envirments you could make one) with one entence in the back. there'd be chain gun turrets on the front and sides of the base.the outside would be very thick on the 1st & 2nd floor so it would take atleast 2 tank rounds the get through. but once you did there would be lots of wreckage to hide behind & it would be very short range so there would be some very intence fire fights going on there. the third floor would be like the top of the bases in blood glutch without the teleporter(whitch means you can't sneak through & attack the enemy"s base while the are attacking yours). there would be battle rifle, smg, & granade ammo on the first floor, sniper, and rocket ammo and there would only be granade ammo on the top so you could rain down hell on the attacking forces.in CTF the flag would be on the very top.
there would be 2 of these bases at each end of the level. there'd be a small bunker like in blood glutch in the middle of a huge curve in the middle af the level like in SW with ridges on both sides high enough to hide a worthog behind.
i guess that i'm just feeling descriptive (and bore) today.

My idea for a cool MP map is an MC vs elite thingy. It would be like assasanat the comander in witch one player of each team is eather a prophet or a humman general and all the other player have to kill the other teams commander. It also would be cool if the commander of the team would have the ability to see a radar version of his side of the map so he could worn the other players. This i think would rock on X-box live.

The perfect MAP would be like BLOOD GULCH but have it shaped like + with bases on each of the four points in the middle would be a big BATTLE AREA and at each of the bases ther would be one banshee two four wheelers a tank and a covenet thing with a turet
on the back. in the middle of the battle area there would be shallow water just a little deep so you could lay down in it to hide from the banshees. then there would be rivers with the same deepness as the lake in the middle that ran from each of the bases.
