I really like youre idear apple jack.... But i think the night gulch or whatever name you give it should have fast vhecles or maby even banshees. so that maby one person on the team has the job to protect the flag whil the other ones run around in the jungle.The one on the base might even give them instructions on enemies location.

I would either have one with close quarters (my speciality), or a very big one where you can employ flying vehicles as transport for shock troopers (also my speciality).

A gladiator colleseum with gates/spikes at either end and rows and rows of seats around it. A blood gulch with a river that lead to another big area would also be very cool (u know where the dry river bed is).

Hmm. I think I'd first experiment with trench warfare. I'd have 2 opposing sides with an obstacle ridden no man's land, along with heavy weaponry like rockets and frg's in each trench. I'd then have some kind of hangar or vehicle bay with hogs and a tank, so that each team would try to flank the other side's trench with the vehicles, but the risk would be great because of all the heavy weapons. Then I'd have buildings behind the 2 trenches with sniper equiptment. Banshees also might be a fun addition.

Some team objective based maps, like in RTCW. Would like to see something like these classics, or same kinda idea with the new Halo2 locations:
Mostly Assault/Defend:

T&R: Marines vs Covanent. Marines must battle thier way from one end of a Covanent starship to other, securing spawn checkpoints or completing tasks like destroying control rooms.

POA: Same thing, but reversed - Covanent on the offensive, fighting throught the belly of the human battleship to take control of the bridge, and secure/destroy whatever else.

AOTCR: The pyramid-looking structure leading to the control room. Marines must fight their way to the top and inside to take control of the control room. Basically similar to defend the light beam tower, but with the twisty ramp to ascend.

HALO: Defend the Light Beam Tower - The tower could be placed on top of something like the rockslide, with a long/narrow open field that must be transversed. Think king of the hill. The rockslide would be heavily defended with mounted guns and cannons.

The Maw: Escape from the Maw. This would be more like a racing game. 4 Warthogs at the most. 3 people could be in each vehicle. Race the length of the Maw to reach the LongSword first.

Silent Cartographer: Basic beach invasion, like the RTCW map. Take the beach, work up the path, and decend into the structure to access the SC.

Bringing team classes into play would be great too. Marine medic, engineer, soldier, and the Covanent counterparts.

i think it would be cool to hav realistic weather and time.as the game goes on, it gets darker.and it could start to rain.i would like to make this on a level kina like the silent catrographer but a bit smaller

Well I already submitted my idea about splitting battle creak in half and useing the
ends to extend blood gulch. Just have the creek base teleporter go to the friendly
gulch base with the exit at the gulch flag station. connect the sides with ridges and
tunnels and you got one long capture the flag map with a base and a foreward
outpost and a teleporter to go to the out post from the base in a hurry for both sides
Also has plenty of room for all vehicles from turrets and tanks to aircraft. and is still
infantry friendly with ridge paths and tunnles along the sides to protect you from vehicle
fire and bombardment and teleporter network that can get you half way acrose the map
or 1/4 of the way if you perfer.

First off it would snowing, and probably in a twin moon lit night. There would be a massive forest that was scattered throughout a large area. Patches of the woods would be burned away giving way to a path for vehciles. Along the edges of the map would be three bases buried deep within the surrounding mountains. The paths would be small, so vehicles could be easilly attacked. In the center would be an even large sign of battle where everything had been burned away. Only craters would remain in that area. Well, class is ending so i can't finish this...damn.

One thing for sure is that we want a hugh team base ctf map with plenty of open
aeras and hills and trees to support vahicles and aircraft while keeping buildings
or caves to give plenty of close-quater combat action. scatter teleproters to make
it infantry frendly for the 0311 grunt rifleman Marine (Marine Corp is INFANTRY
EVERYTHING ELSE IS SUPPORT). and just give it a theme like urban, forrest,
desert, jungle or anything. and you got a good map. Please bungie atleast 5 or 6 maps
that support vehicles. Big ones too.

Mine would have space to warthogs and other transports. With 4 fortreses (like battle creek)
and caves in the mountain, and places to snipe. That would be great.

I would make one like Blood Gulch or Sidewinder but to have a lot of tunnels underground that the vehicles could fit in.

i like this idea but i should definatley be wider because have you ever tried to have on co-op two warthogs racing down there? You always get too much in the way of each other and this would be an unfair advantage for someone who got in first. also if only one or two players die then they should respawn already inside the warthog etc. it should also have to include more big jumps as there are not many places where a person can die of there own fault. It would aslo be very interesting if there were at least gun enplacements that shot at all of the teams.

you know guys, you can kinda do this now. If you own HAlo PC, you know about this. Its called Halo Custom Edition and Halo PC Editing Kit. Halo CE is released by Gearbox. You can basically make you own maps and do all sorts of col stuff. Look for the download on the Gearbox site and many others. In order to have Halo CE, you need the product key from Halo PC. Its free otherwise. It is not free if you do not have the product key. Check it out and all of you guys should be able to or might be able to possibly create these maps and rule the Halo PC online community!!

HALO 2 arena should have 2 underground bases and trees all around but the bases should have a bunker an the to camoflaged like the trees. Also hideen cliffs. Then it should have two Towers for snipers.Only the tower should have all around active camo and when you enter the tower you outomaticly become active camo also it should not be hard to find but should be only be able to be found by that sides team. OH and don't worry there is two!!

My map would have this big spirel tower in the middel and on top is just one sniper and the setting would be and all ice and u would slide on it to so like when some gets to the top the spirel stiars going up turn to a ramp and the person would have to slide down. And then there are 4 bases. the map is in a shape of a plus sign (+) but more longer tips and this map well support 16 players, 4 teams of 4, Ctf. and all Vehicles.

Mine would be perfectly flat floor with perfectly flat walls and a perfectly flat pyramid on it with every vehicle as well and also the sea at one end and two sniping spots at either end which only pros could get up to and also some grunty bots just running around screaming like babies and a big blue beam coming out of the top of the perfectly flat pyramid which shot people into the air and didnt kill them so that you could practically fly and up really high there would be platforms which you could land on and snipe.

This something I came up with a while ago I guess its ok
Multiplayer levels name (Haven’t named it yet)
People 2-16(best with 8 through 16)
1 team is covenant and other is humans.
Shaped in a giant U
There are vehicles
14 towers
<><><HOW THE LEVEL IS MADE><><>
The level is a mix between blood gulch and sidewinder. There is the main base (like 1 in SW) on both teams and there is 2 outposts for each team. 1 out post is very high up perfect for snipering overlooking other teams outpost and their main base. There is constant supply of sniper ammo there so u don’t have to go back to your base. This outpost is kinda like the danger canyon (PC) sniper spot in middle of map but there is no path u cross u are just teleported. But there is wall protecting u from other team. That goes through just to kill u .the 2nd one is a ground outpost (kinda like BG) and it has constant supply of shotgun, assault rifle, and SMG ammo. it has perfect walking route to other teams base or outpost. The 2nd outpost has 3 mini towers 2 towers one in east of base one in west and one in the middle. East and west towers are machine gun and middle is rocket launcher.(that’s just outposts and then there is a big battlefield type area that there are big boulders to hide behind lots of trenches and blown up warthogs and ghosts to hide behind. but when u r in there u have to watch out for snipers in enemy outposts. in that battle field there are also a lot of trees to hide behind. ok that’s main fighting area now to your main base. as I said its like sidewinder but instead the flag(if playing ctf) is upstairs. when u are going up the ladder there is a machine that will take your shield down to half. upstairs there is a sniper a shotgun and a smg.(wont constantly reappear)but the enemy sniper outpost has perfect aim into ur base. ok right outside main part of base there is a customizable amount of vehicles.(4 of any type tops(besides warthogs and alien warthog up to 10)(warthogs for humans alien warthogs for covenant) there is a wall surrounding ur base with 4 towers which in the middle of wall is vehicle garage thing.2 towers have machineguns and 2 are sniper perches.(there are some places in the wall that are broken down so the enemy can sneak into ur base).But in ur base there is a road underground road to the main battle area and 1 long road wide enough for warthogs that will lead to be a somewhat faster way to get to other teams base. you are able to look barred windows to kill people that are there. if u keep going through that tunnel u will come upon the other teams base also. In that tunnel u will find rocket launchers, fuelrods, and flame-throwers the weapons would be found at beginning of tunnel.rocket launcher and flame thrower at humans and fuelrod and plasma thrower somewhat like flame thrower but aliens version. In the middle of the long tunnel there is big war area that has a couple blown up warthogs and ghosts. It also has alien and human bots fighting in there. There will also be ammo of both teams in there. You are also able to take a portal that is in your ground outpost or the other teams.

Ya know It would be nice if the people at bungie would create a well kind of an expansion compatable with halo two that has the feature of creating maps but dont put it on the original halo 2 disk cuz well i dont wanna wait too much longer umm kinda like an age of empires map editor if you know about that but kinda mixed with a tony hawk editor... But that would be too much of a feat for you guys cuz that is an awfully big thing to do the graphics for the maps wont be as good as the ones you guys create in my opinion

My map would be like Timberland, with at one side a human base (south) and on the other side a covenant base (north). In front of the covie base the landscape changes in some sort of 343 Guilty Spark landscape (with those strange trees). The only vehicles available would be the ATV for the humans and the Ghost for the covenant. At the right side of the map (east) will be a party of rocks, just like in the level "Halo", for some sniper cover. In this map the humans (MC's) can ONLY use human weapons, and the covenant only covenant weapons. What do you think about this?

1 word CHAOS!!!!!!

the more potential for chaos the better i love it when i'm playing with like 8 people and we all meet up in the same area and a massive frag battle insues where no one is really thinking were just shooting at anything hoping the random golden bullet finds it's mark. i want a level similar to either the normandy level on Medal Of Honor Allied Assault or the Silent cartographor on halo 1 but with like fortifications. more shades. maybe a few vehicles and more danger and CHAOS!!! also perhaps a level for an arieal battle like two massive towers or mountains and the only way to get from one tower to the other is either by a flight vehicle or a very narrow bridge. and for the more stratigized perhaps a jungle level with thick foliage and lots of swamp land with hidden traps like quick sand or maybe even gorilla traps like punji stake pits, leg snares, and spiked rolling logs. the good stuff oh yea the good stuff
