I would have a map like Blood Gulch, but covered with fog, trees and snow and possibility to have Banshees in it.

A map that came to me in a dream is a level like a the rat race caves, pure caves, 5 levels , low gravity so you can jump to the next level. make one base on the bottom and one base on the top. If you dont like the idea of the low gravity maybe use those new elevators, it would be fun to play. Setting like rat race caves only, for good close combat. Maybe make each level a differnet shape? like a circle, traingle, square, star and an X. ( In the dream the low gravity was better.)

if i could make a map i would be like a raceing kind of map 4 for all the halo vehicles and with low gravity so you could do jumps and go fast

a multi level tree top villiage thing, with a far distant forest floor, and with incomplete sections, small rope bridges and single railing catwalks spanning large areas between trees, as well as larger boardwalk avenues and plaforms, with a few large huts and many smaller ones. there are tonns of nooks and crannies, with sniper positions in hollowed out recesses in the trees and in the windows of huts. there are lots of branches everywhere, and the very very tops of trees are accesible, with tiny single file walkways, stairs and roofed platforms poking out into the sun afforing a view across the treetops to the horizon...

sniping in 3 dimensions....

- incedantally, any bungie developers reading this? there are some real gems in here that i would love to see made into levels in halo 2.

I would make a huge dessert map (with a lot of wind, so you cant se a lot, becaus of all the sand in the air) this mape should include high mountains and a few stops with water!

What would also be a good map is if you play assault (you have to get your flag into the enemys base) and youll have to enter an elite base, with a huge entrance and warthogs and towers and things like that, that would be so cool!

I think instead of having camos, having a rainforest map where each character blends perfectly with the environment. CTF as well. Imagine storming a base, and then having a -blam!- load of snipers destroy you in the only asphalted area...the bases. that would rock.

Definately some sort of urban/city setting, running through and upwards in tower blocks, maybe destroying buildings with Covenant troops in them...............

Other Ideas,

Beach invasion,
Sky platforms,
Covenant Grave yard,

Covenant church/religious building rumble....ahh.......

A cool multiplayer would be having different islands and going through each island trying to look for each other and going through each island will have to be probably by a small fast boat.

i would like a map similar to blood gulch but its circular with one base in the middle with tanks, warthogs, stationary macine guns etc. and the goal is to stay alive because waves upon waves of HUNDREDS of covenant/flood/whatever get thrown at you with each consecutive wave getting harder until every player is DEAD and you only get 5 lives

hmmm... starting to sound a bit like starship troopers when the bugs start to attack the little fort

I think it would be neat to have like a Jungle by a lake and the level would be MASSIVE maybe even bigger than Blood Gulch. And would support ALL VEHICLES.

I would have a map which is big, and based in caves. You can hide and you have to decide whether you have your flashlight on or off...SCARY!!!

A level with an above ground and a below ground area... looks similar to blood gultch above ground (fairly open but a tall building in the center.) A couple of tunnles going from one side to the other, a HUGE cavern in the middle underground fairly dark... This would let you use the night-vision on the sniper rifle. In the corner of the cavern you would have sniping towers. Even on a darker map like Sidewinder the night-vision scope is worse than the regular scope! I wan't to try it out! Can you imagine seeing just a couple of headlights heading your way... you can't see it but you know it is a warthog! Cool!

I think a map thats 5 times as big as Blood Gulch would be great. I would have two bases that are two stories high with basements under them. The basements will have doors that open up into tunnels that lead to each base. The tunnels will connect into on large underground room. Then there will be a forest in the middle of the map (above ground) where that will be plenty of cover for some really intence fights. On either side of the forest there will be a grassy plain that will have some nice weapons in it. The map will support warthogs, tanks, ATV's (for underground), banshees (there will be a higher ceiling), and maybe some others. OH yeah I almost forgot there will be cliffs that overlook the forest trees so they can see the other base to snipe at them. But be careful because the base will be pretty far away(even for the sniper rifle). Damn I didn't realize how similar mine was to the one above me. Sorry didn't read it till I made this one.

I think it would be cool to have a giant map like with 4 bases inside a forest with hills and caves on the side and a few good sniper spots but have enouf tree cover to make it hard and a few paths the tanks can move down. I think it would be fun for CTF and large team games.

i would like a sea mea with lots of islands wits tunnls that went to all the islands sep a few that were like packed with every weapon and the tunnls would have small rooms in them

Two words Helms Deep!!! that would the baddest recreation of all time where the spartans defend on the long castle wall and the elites have to raid the castle wall and break through it or blow up the weak point of the wall. the just like in Helms Deep the Spartans have to protect the VIP. The elites have tanks and and ghosts and all the other weapons and rush the defenses and thier objective is to kill the VIP. And if they reach the VIP we ride out in warthogs and run the elites over juss like in the movie but instead of Horses its warthogs that would soo badass LOL but thats juss my opinion.

or the big fight in the third movie that would be awsome! but ony have swords and snipers or pistols that would make it awsome!

How about some sort of death race. a-la Halo Kart but with DEATH! You race on either covenant or human vehicles around a huge track that spans about every kind of weather while killing the -blam!- out of the other players. Some players could dismount and set trapt for the opposing team....oh well

My vision of the perfect multiplayer map would be on a human spacestation, orbiting somewhere WAY out in space. It would have at least two or three levels to it. Each with ar mories and interlocking bridges between levels and sections. The two (if not more) bases could be docked ships. Each would have at least one turret. There'd be a huge docking bay for large battles(also with turrets) and MAYBE even some confiscated Banshees to launch from the loading bay to transport the flag from one side of the spacestation to the other....I don't know...just a cool idea.

Yeah, Imp's idea of the treetop map with huts and sniping crevices in the trees would be freaking sweet too. I pictured the tree-dweller's level from the first Myst. Elevators and wooden pathways all around...rope bridges and rope ladders... sweet idea
