All right here's mine. Please read it all.

Ok, say you're the green team(in a 4 team battle), your base is in the middle of a forest. It's like the blood gulch bases(with turrets) except they can go to an underground garage. The garage would hold 2 jungle warthogs, 1 transport warthog, 2 ghosts, 2 banshees, 1 tank, 2 atv's, and 1 shadow. There would be a door in the ground that opens for your vehicle when you get in it so you could drive out. And that way people can't just sneak up and take your vehicles without going through your base first.
In the forest there would be 2 paths that go from one side of the forest to the other, with one path passing the green base. At the two sides where the paths start, there would be 3 portals big enough for a tank. The vehicles could pass through the portals, which would be labeled Snow, Desert, and Field.

Snow- Blue Territory
Desert- Gold Territory
Field- Red Territory

The snow area would be similar to sidewinder except with hills, mountains, and other things. The blue base would be the same as the green base, except with snowhogs. Once again, at opposite sides of the map would be the portal areas, this time with again 3, but labeled, Field, Desert, and Forest.

And so on, the Field area(red team) would be like blood gulch with regular hogs, and the Desert area(gold team) would have massive dunes with the base in a crater and warthogs like the jungle ones, except with a desert camo. Each area would have two spots with portals to the other three. The spots would always be opposite each other on the map so you could bust out Mongol tactics and just wipe out one base, then keep going in the same direction to the next area then take out another team's base(an unstoppable force). Also each area would have an abandoned building/cabin thing for attackers or retreaters.

Each team would have the options of customizing there non transport warthogs(2) with Gauss cannons, rocket launchers, or chain guns.

And after the vehicles were destroyed they would respawn in their correct spots in the base. So say if magically the other team stole most of your vehicles, you could send a guy in with a rocket launcher to destroy your vehicles which are at their base, then 10 seconds later your team rushes in there with the 2 newly spawned warthogs and start capping people.

It was a cold day near the southern base in Blood Gulch. Cortana and I were relaxing over a game of Go Fish, WHEN OUT OF NO WHERE 700 BANSHEES CAME FLYING IN!!! I GRABED MY SPARTAN LASER AND LET HELL REIGN DOWN UPON THEM. I HOPPED IN THE NEAREST WARTHOG AND TOLD CORTANA TO GET IN.

This is a kinda far out idea but imagine a level where there is all weird paths that will go level for a while then go straight up and then level and turn and like the ceiling will have stairs on it going to the walls and weird stuff and if you ran into the wall you walked up the wall and then from the wall you could run up onto the ceiling and stick to the ceiling and not fall (your body would fall back down if you died) but it would be like a bunch of maze things. kinda weird and I bet it was really hard to understand but if you do its kinda neat to think about

A cityscape mabey ruins of LA or NewYork or somthin.. Tall buildings, busted cars and crashed ships all around, a sewer with ladders going up to the other teams base, Elevators that go to the top of the buildings and an armory on the 13th floor...

yea thats where I got the idea from. where the guy is walking up the walls and stuff that woulkd be the level. all close range wepons (cept mabye for a pistol and the covie gun with a scope)

Wow thats a sweet idea for a level person governator. Im not sure if this is how it is and i mis understood but it would be awsome if every team gets a (this is kinda weird becasue i dont thisnk theres any suck thing but if there was it would be awsome) snow trans hog and normal hod a jungle trans hog n normal hog a regular trans and regular hog aqnd desert hog n desert trans (if theres such a thing) and desert hog can only go to desert map and snow can only go to snow map so on n so forth

No it's just that each team gets 2 hogs that are to the advantage in that team's area. You could still use the snow hog in the desert except it would be slower on sand and the desert hog would be slide on ice.

Edit: Each team get 2 warthogs that are good with their area and each team gets 1 transport warthog. Total 3 Hogs per team.

I'm not sure if this has been said yet, but mine would be like Blood Gulch, but larger.

In the center would be four turrets, each facing in an opposite direction, formin a square.
Oh, and these would be the gigantic turrets from the E3 demo.

Along the outer edge of the map, the walls would be riddled with holes and tunnels and sniping areas.

One team would recieve the turrets, while the other had only a protected spawning point and all the tunnels, It wouldn't be complex, but that is what made Blood Gulch so fun.

Ight now this would rock. The map would be like a pentagon, it would be closed into 5 big rooms. In the center would be a kind of covenant looking room, with teleporters at each of its interior walls. Then for the four outer rooms it be other enviroments, like a snow room, a tropical room wit water, a human city, and a covenant wastlenad. So the center room is like a teleportation pad to many different "worlds". Can u say perfect slayer action?

One map that I thought of was the Pillar of Autumn after it crashed on Halo, and you would be able to fight in and around it. It would support every vehicle, and I think it should be able to support about 60ish people (enough people to fill every slot on every vehicle). The only problem would be lag (on the internet or XBox Live), but I still think it would be cool.

Will you need a PC to design the multiplayer maps for Halo2? Or can you create with your Xbox? Will you be able to design logos with just your Xbox? If no, why not?

The largest map known, a very ambiant jungle place....I MEAN HUGE!!!!! like 5:00 minutes full speed in a warthog to get to the other side. and 4 awsomeley huge bases

Alright.. I'm not going to say I've been thinking about this forever because the stuff here just inspired me. Ok, to take parts from the sphere idea and boarding action : imagine hang em high. There would be about 4 more of the small bunkers, 2 on each side. (the ones that have sniper rifles on ctf). The middle trench would be a bit deeper and stretched so the level was almost a half longer, with the small rock nipple whatever things in there to hide between.

Meanwhile (lol)

Imagine a sort of battle creek map, except much larger on a 2d scale. Think of the size as right between battle creek and blood gulch, with the same kind of color/scenery. The obstacles and hiding spots are more sparse but also larger, and the bases are more vulnerable. There would be vehicles enabled (if you choose, cause truly that should be up to the players) the ridge up the middle would lead to a deep cliff instead of just stopping (but the ridge would be the only way there, and the rocket would spawn somewhere else.

With that in mind let me get to the real point of this map. The hang em high type map is on some kind of upside-down installation in really low orbit, the players held on by artifical gravity. If you look up from the Hang em high level you can see the battle~gulch level through some sort of barrier (the closed door hangers on truth and reconciliation?) and vice versa. 2 or three pairs of matching teleporters would be strewn through the levels to get from one to the other. The bases of each map would still belong to 2 teams, meaning that the blue base of HeH would have a teleporter directly to the blue base of battle gulch, and the same for the red. Now the red flag would be on the battle gulch map at the red side of the map, and the blue flag would be at the hang em high base or the other way around.

Also, for 4 team maps the teleporters could be moved to the ends of the trench, or they could just be there from the beginning. I think this would be interesting because you could scope out what anyone is doing on the other map but you wouldnt be able to do anything about it, so you'd have to go find them on the other map, or have birds eye view for a team mate on that side.

it should be a trench warfare type thing with turrets in and around the trenches.1 or 2 tunels across to each base with a huge no mans land in the center... sniper heaven!!! the trench would be just low enough to see the other teams haed so u would have to crouch or run really fast!!! it would also have vehicle garages at each base under ground so u can get in them fast and drive out in a hurry, the only propblem would be is all the rocks in no mans land to tip the hog over....but there would be a couple of paths of coures. the garges would be like in the maw when u escape in the hog because there were so many hogs!!!there would also be a pelican at the human base with a turret in the bach like in the halo2 e3 demo,and a cov dropship at the cov base.

okay, i havent read too far, so i hope nobody said something like this. i would have a map like Battle Creek, only bigger, supporting all vehicles, more arches, and stone sniper towers. i would also have it snow so that the creeks, which i would make deeper, could freez so you could walk on it and shoot it to crack and shatter it. imagine hiding underwater with a rocketauncher and some unsuspecting victim walks by and then BAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! he will be like WTF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think there should be a level based on a much larger version of the bridges from Halo. It would only be good for two teams, but it would create a very cool level. A base on each end with a sniping tower above each. The bridge would be wider than Blood Gulch and have several tiers so that there is more than one route to any given spot. Then there could be a bunch of large debris and other things to provide cover, while each team would begin with one personell carrier warthog, one standard warthog, and several atv's to provide more for the independent gamer.

Mine would have the horseshoe kinda shape from sidewinder, but be totally desert. It would be where a big battle had happened between cov and humans. There would be vehicles (some working, but most not) that had been blown up all over to give cover from snipers on each base. The bases would have ceilings with a door into them only big enough for a person, so u couldn't drive a banshee into a base. Imagine all the times someone would be under sniper fire, duck behind what he thought was a blown up banshee, hop in, got to the enemy base, get the flag, hop bak in the banshee and be able to see people in ATV's right below him trying to beat him 2 his own base and shooting him the whole time. AWESOME!!! Oh, and each base would have a garage with one of evry vehicle, but only for the species that u were. (Hence, Covenant team would have ghost, shadow, etc., and humans would have Warthog, tank, ATV etc.) Neither team would havve a banshee in the garage thoug, cuz then the rounds would go too fast since there would be no strugglt to get into a banshee. Oh, and there would be little paths, nooks, crannies, in the mountain inbetween the bases, as well around the outside of the map, so u can either go throught the mountain to the enemy base, go over it, use a vehicle and go around, or go around in the mountain. TOTAL CHAOS!!!!!!!

I also think more options for gametypes in general would be nice... a list of checks to pick exactly the weapons you want, exactly the vehicles you want, etc. I also like the idea of no power ups (from the review of zanzibar)

I'd make one in a Football field with real NFL teams. It would be capture the Flag and all of the Football players are gettin' in your way and tackling you like your one of the Football Players and when you get the Flag, they all come after you and tackle you so you lose the Flag...and did i metion no vehicles or weapons exept for the Plasma sword?Heh heh heh...

An extremly large desert, with various rock formations. On one end would be a small Human camp, with bunkers and a garage filled with 4 warthogs ,1 of each weapon type and a transport, A pelican, and two ATVs. the other side would have a crashed covenant Cruiser filled with shadows, ghosts, banshees, and a phantom. CTF with Earth vs Covenant/Funk

A huge jungle with tons of plants and trees to hide in for capture the flag. It would be shaped on the outside like blood gulch, all one straight pathway, but good snipers could hide in trees and people not talented with snipers with shotguns hiding in plants, and the flags would be in the middle of a big circle of plants at each end. The offense people would have rockets to take down the snipers and shotgun dudes, and each group would have like a stationary gun platform with shades, chainguns, rockets, stationary guns that have sniper rifles on them, and the gun from the wraiths in halo one to defend the flag. There would be warthogs, atvs, and ghosts to get around the jungle in too. Also the gravity level would be low so that the snipers could get on top of the trees. And the trees should be able to be destroyed so they would fall over. Also you would have plasma swords so you could jump up on top of the trees and take out the snipers. Grenades would be infinite by default so there would be lots of explosion fun! There would be the small little carrier flood walking around just wating to take down you shields.

You see the bastard running. He entered your base from the broken skylight. He took the elevator down and he is running through the streets. You follow him down and jump in your Warthog. You try to follow him but the back alleys and narrow passageways are too hard to navigate. You get out of your jeep and follow on foot. You chase him through underground tunnels.(like a subway of some sort) After coming back from above ground you see him duck into a doorway. HA! You have him now. You go around the back and blow his ass to pieces as he comes out.
Of course, this is a city level. There should be plenty of buildings, and alternate entrances to these buildings. A subway tunnel to both bases that twists and turns.(no subway of course, unless it can kill people it hits) The bases are on top of two skyscrapers, and the only way to acess them is to take an elevator up, or come crashing in through a glass roof. Sniper rifles for catching people running through the streets is a must.
