Id probally make a huge map. With hill's, ditches, bunkers, underground tunnels, a secret sniper spot that randomly changes its spot each time you play the map again. And like 4 places were ships spawn. There would be 2 armoury room's were you can stock up on supplies and such. And of couse 2 huge bases. I got this idea from a map made in JK3/JA.

I would make a big level that supports vechicles. It will have a big series of lakes that you can disappear in. The two bases will be on oppsosite sides and there is land all around the level.

In a giant ocean, underwater, there's two bases far from each other, and a somewhat complicated system of tunnels. Everything is made out of glass, so you can see your tropical reef and marine life outside. The tunnels are seperated into sections by huge steel doors, and automatically close and lock, also, you can't access the doors in your enemies base. The bases aren't attatched, so you have to move through the water to get from one base to another, which is about 50 feet deep. When you leave your base, you have to go through a special chamber that fills with water, like in movies and crap. The only way to get into an enemies base is to blow up their generator, which is behind either base, for each team. Once you blow the generator, the shields that protect the base's weak glass, shuts down, so all you have to do is shoot the glass out and that section of tunnel will fill with water, and you can get inside.

Along with all that coolness, when you're in the water, there's one shark that swims around and attacks you, if you're hurt and you're shield is down, it'll hunt you (the whole shark smelling blood thing) but its easy to kill, and it respawns slowly. To top it off, the physics are all changed to simulate what running underwater would be like, we'll just assume that the player has weights that keep him from floating to the surface. There could be tunnels that you'd need to use your flashlight to move through, and all the effects and explosions would have to be altered.

Well, mine would take place in the second level (Halo)! Right after you fight off the drop ships from the first group of survivors. That place afterwards with the stream is pretty tight! Also, the second group of survivors are in a cool arena as well.

Ok, i already posted one on pg. 17, but here's another one. Okay, rolling hills, filled with golden wheat that flows in the wind. You can crouch in the wheat, and be practically invisible, if you're the right color. Two bases are divided by a wide span, which is linked by a cracked, and shattered 4-lane road. In the middle of the span, a massive, jagged mountain of rocks jutting out from the middle of the ground. The rock is dark brown, and sharp. Snipers and heavy weapons would appear on the mountain. The roads meet the bases as a tunnel sort of thing. The front of the base would look like this, / / T \ \. The shaft of the T, would be a line of pillars, dividing in the road in half. On top of that would be a long, horizontal viewing port. The road would slant down when it met the base, so any who reached the base would be protected from snipers. However, the viewing port is visible from the mountain. The divided road would continue into the base for a time, and then come to a gate, numerous amounts of pipes on each side would provide access to the base. Once inside, you must sneak inside, and open the gate from in the base, if this happens, it remains open for the rest of the game. Inside the base, there is a small rectangular area, and atop a platform is the flag. Behind the flag position is an elevator leading down to tunnels below. The tunnels are very small and dark, and a few lead to the mountain, some lead to surface hatches located throughout the battlefield, and some lead to the opposite base. This is pretty much my idea of a freaking good multi-player map. What do you guys think?

Ok, i know this really doesn't have to do with maps, but I think they should let us play through parts of the books. Such as the attack on the asteroid from the first book. The covenant's assault of the hill from "The Flood". Or, the assualt on the Heirophant, from the third book. I think that'd be freakin sweet. And for the second one, if you don't know what I'm talking about, it's when the marine forces set up base on top of an easily defendable hill. Only, they took it from the Covenant. So, soon the Covenant shows up and the Marines pull some pretty tricky -blam!- to get out of it. Anyway, that's it.

What about essentially a flatlands, really damn big, and the center is a huge valley, basically. so there're rounded walls leading into it that aren't very steep. All vehicles supported

My map would be about the size of blood gulch. It would be based in an urban environment, meaning alot of buildings, about 4-5 stories high. The base would have a covenant turret on top. The vehicles on the map would include warthogs, tanks, ghosts, and banshees. You would be able to go in and on top of buildings and snipe. there would also be a small suspended bridge connecting two buildings together. ::sigh:: if only it were possible.

The map I think they should design would have to be sorta like bloodgulch but have much bigger bases with large windows that have turrets ready to kill any enemy who wanders by. The distance between the bases would have to be much larger plus flying vehicles. Trenches would need to be everywhere and plenty of tunnels.

A huge jungle with a lot of trees. A few of them should be destructable so they would fall down. The level would have rocks, dead trees, and river ditches all to take cover in. Two trees would be huge and have a tree top base high up in the tree. Ground vehicles would be the only ones you can use.

Ya I was going to add stuff to mine about that it would be sweet, I was also thinking of adding a stream.

I would make a map with a bunch of buildings with gun emplacements all over and great sniping spots and it would have warthogs variants allover.

I would make a map that was just like Hang em' High, except a HELL of a lot bigger, and make the paths biger and platforms at every junction so SOME vehicles could go there, and have base-type towers at both ends so that you could play CTF on it. I don't know if i would put flying vehicles in it or not though.

O GOD PLZ LET HALO 2 COME OUT SOON!!! GOD PLZ HELP THEM OUT THERE!!!

i would have a very tall level one that goes up like 5 or 6 stories kinda coliseum shaped with bridges that stretch across to the other side and plenty of snipping opportunities at the top would be both teams flags right next to each other but the trick is, you start at the bottom of the map and have to work your way up to the top to get the flag I think this would make for some excellent game play. It would be similar to prisoner but more straight up and down and more covered areas. heres a pic i made of this level.

I am actually in the process right now of making a map of my own, it will have three buildings witch the level randomly puts the flags, both teams in one place, and both teams have to figure out where the flag is and get it before the other does. there will also be some secret sniper spots that you have to search for and also some telaports. I was also thinking about putting in a forest and some trees you climb on to sniper or through grenades from, what do guys think about the tree idea?

I would have "Blood Gulch 2". It would be mostly set up like the last Blood Guclh except there would be 4 bases with the map kind of shaped like a +. Because you can have more than 2 teams now I think it would be awesome to have 4 team CTF on the map. It would be craziness!!! Blood Gulch is everyone's all-time favorite multiplayer map and I think it should be updated to be even more awesome.

on the 2 end of the map there would be tow giant rock walls (bases) and on the top ledges there would be turrets, between the two bases would be a beach with rocks and trees and underground passages leading to each base (with several different passages ways).

im thinking of a map similar to the one called coral sea in bf 1942. instead of having attacking aircraft carriers, there will be a large island with a base in the center and firepower such as tanks and turrets on the coast. then there will be three surrounding islands, smaller, but equipped with vehicles and lots of weaponry to prepare for the assault. the small island's vehicles also have banshees and warthogs and proceed to attack larger island, while the larger also tries to hold off incoming enemies. the objest will be that the three different small island teams ( all against each other ) will try to bring the one large island flag to their own base. if the larger island base can hold off the three attacking teams for the time limit, they win.

i think it would be cool if there was like a human base with human veciles on one side but a covvenant base with covanant veciles on the other and a gradual change from human obgects and landscape to covanant objects and landscape

A nearly ruined battlefied complete with trenches, craters, smoke pouring off destroyed pelicans, covenant dropships. It would be a night level good for vehicles but also balanced so men could hide in a crater or wrecked building and blow up a passing vehicle. It would be kinda hard to see for the darkness and smoke. It would be a very ambient enviroment which would nicely show off those graphics. Danger could come from any where. Each base would be a large trench with weapons inside and vehicles above mainly wharthogs, tanks, atvs.

I like this idea, but what i would do is have a human base out in a field or wasteland, have tanks and warthogs that they can use, and artilery. The covenent get there vehicles and such and try to invade the bass, but the odds are for the covenent like 5:1. Most multi-player maps are probably like this but i could see just a wave of covenent continously coming toward you, and human guys with low ammo, this probably be better if it was for a actual level in the game.

The basic shape will be like a huge colleseum (sorry for the spelling), or like an elongated sphere , about the size of blood gulch. The entire level is dark, it is enclosed (that means a roof), with some fog here and there. There is a ledge halfway up the walls, which goes around the circumference of the oval (wide enough to joyride a warthog on).
In the center there is a giant pillar, with a ramp (like a screw) winding up the sides, so that vehicles that fall down can get back up to the upper levels. From the ledge on the outside, to the pillar there are several bridges, but in the middle of the bridges, there is a section that is a light-bridge with control panels on each side. At the top of the pillar there is a wide ledge, where banshees can be found (also a sweet sniping spot). Underneath each of the bridges, there are several narrow stair cases, which lead up to the ledge.
This map would be ideal for all kinds of players, newbies, veterans, snipers, vehicle lovers, or people who just want to poke around and have fun. It would be alot like Blood Gulch and Sidwinder, where there are multiple possible attack routes on the horizon. But in this one you also have to watch what is above and below you.
