you r supposed to kill all the flood and covenant in the armory, for like 20 minutes, then go on a wart hog 2 where Echo 419 is, on the bridge... get out and jump up on the passenger seat, DO NOT ENTER THE VEHILCLE!!!... from there, jump up on top of the AA gun, (the gun turrent). From there, look left, where Echo 419 is coming from... make sure that there is only one banshee, other wise, try again, but wait longer in the armory... Now as the banshee comes close, jupm up into the air and pilot the now empty banshee, ( the eliets should have been killed in the armory... If timed PERFECTLY, it should work... it is eextremely difficult, though, took me Several tries to complete it...

He's right, its called Object Overload. I recently downloaded a video by Ducain and I really don't think I have the patience to try it. I'll just watch in awe as Ducain gets in the Banshee and flies around.

Object Overload is achieved one of two ways

1) Killing your teammate hundreds of times and picking up his dropped weapon (therefore dropping yours)
2) Killing hundreds of enemies and picking up there weapons (therefore dropping yours)

One of the Bungie Dev team explains how this works. There are certain items in Halo which are disposable corpeses, dropped enemy weapons, etc. These are the items that disappear to help make room for new objecst. Well it just so happens they decided not to make any weapon you drop one of these items. As a matter of fact the weapon you drop is on the high priority list of things to disappear last.

So what happens is you drop so many weapons Halo has no more room to load new objects. You know you've reached this point when no more projectiles come from weapons. It literally will take hours in SP to do this. It can be done quicker in co-op because your not dependent on bad guys.

That is my down and dirty explanation.

Check HERE for the official explanation.

if you went with this explanation it wouldn't work. the enemies weapons would disapper and you would never reach the overload point. plus 20min is not enough time at all.
