yes
btw just as a warning... newegg only does returns if the product is broken... so once you buy it, its yours forever. And if it is broken... you can send it back to them, and theyll ship you out a new one. goodluck in what ever action you take.

Now I'm in the mood to get a cheap upgrade to my existing graphics card.

Pentium 4 2.80 GHz
Radeon 9200 SE (sucks I know)
2 X 512 MB PNY PC3200
ABIT IS7-E Motherboard http://www.abit-usa.com/products/mb/techspec.php?categories=1 &model=80

You know, I'm tired of getting weird tears across my game in both Multiplayer and Single Player so I'd like to get an upgrade. However I don't want that good of an upgrade and I can accept crappy graphics, but the severity of the quality is where I draw the line. I've been reading the Sticky on this board and done some google research on graphics card benchmarks and I can't really settle on one yet. I want to spend around $70-$80 and get this game going at around 1024 X 768 with some stuff turned on. If you have a suggestion that exceeds this budget, list it anyway please. I'll deal with filtering out the results later.

Forget about the 9800 Pro because that's too much according to Pricegrabber. I was looking more along the lines of 9550 or 9600. I found that the 9600 XT isn't really significantly better than the 9600 Pro so I won't be getting that (http://www.hardwareanalysis.com/content/article/1671/). Tiger Direct and Newegg have a lot of different brands like Connect 3D, Power Color, Asus and would like some recommendations. I also have read some 9550s can be overclocked to a 9700 performance with some luck and I am interested in doing that as well if I can save some money that way.

There are so many different 9550s and 9600s that I don't know which one to buy. The benchmarks for them are also on computers that are totally different than mine and I want to install the card on my computer since I'm paranoid those results are irrelevant to me, but I'll live with the advice of this forum.

To further illustrate the problems I have here are some pictures.

To the gentlemen that mentioned he can go to 1024 X 768 on a Radeon 9200SE I'd like to know how that's possible because going up to 800 X 600 on my computer slows things waaaay down even with everything turned off. My computer's been on for about 8 hours now and it's temperature never goes above 25 Celsius. Right now it's at 18C.

Stupid parents let their stupid children play games that are rated M when they should be playing Big Birds Spelling Adventures

Also the AR is actually good in CQB now and no longer a glorified baseball bat.

I suggest getting this card.
It's a 9600XT, but it's pretty cheap and it runs any game you throw at it with ease.(I have a 9600XT)
It's definatly worth it. It's also about half the price I payed for mine.(mine was an AIW)

I also have a problem with the ping, or lag. It was doing just fine until day before yesterday, and now I can't hardly play at all. Ran all my spyware/adware/anti-virus scans, came up with just the basic stuff (cookies, ect.) I have a Dell Inspirion 8600, NVIDIA GeForce FX Go5200 video card, Intel Pentium M processor at 1.60GHz, 1GB Ram, and 40GB free of 55GB total Hard Drive Space. I thought I had plenty to run everything, but just all of a sudden, it started lagging real, real bad. In fact, bad enough to be asked to exit from multiplayer online play by others. Any ideas on what has caused this, or advice for me. Thanks!

Aj6627, does that card really have a core clock speed of 500 Mhz and a Memory clock of 600 Mhz? I'm a little wary of some companies lying about their own card, like in the sticky topic.

dude hold on i use to have the same intel intergrated as you, i know how it runs halo it horrible, i would say to download my drivers but its not worth it. i got a nvida mx440 pci 64mb now and i run halo at 640x480 with no problems at all. Even though this card is old it still has the power to run halo way better then the intergrated -blam!-. You not interally scrwed just having pci slots. I would get the nivida fx5500 pci 128mb or if you wanna spend a litttle more get the 256mb version. With that card you can get good permornce plus all the eye cady stuff cause i think it has pixel sharder 2.0. Well what i really mean is that intel intergrated is so bad that any video card is better then that pice of crap. Good luck buddy.
