In The forgotten Spartans, these guys managed to put hundreds of players in one game... How?

P.s: You can see that in episode 7.

P.P.s: I'm sure you know The Forgotten Spartans, but in case you don't check it out on youtube.

P.P.P.s: I watched the forgotten Spartans a while ago, but I wondered for a longer time how did they manage to do that, so I came here, seeking for an answer.

At Hipi07:
How did they put in bots?

At the other guy:
It doesn't look edited, and comparing on how they edited Cortana, it would've looked much different.

In Halo 3, there was a variant of Zanzibar(Cant remember Halo 3 name) and then another of Valhalla, where they were filled with bots of Spartan´s and Elites. Of course, they did not do anything, they just stood there.

Bots are useless for action scenes. They didn't use bots. What was done in The Forgotten Spartans is a combination of perspective based shooting and post production editing techniques used to create the illusion of several active players in a scene.

Techniques which have been used since Halo 2 machinima sprung up with works such as The Codex

What they did was copy and paste current players in the game. that's why if you pay attention some of them have the exact same deaths.

It's called editing.

I love the Codex and the Heretic, the latter is my favourite machinima.
