-why does a spartan 2 cost so much money, the covenants have thousands of elites and brutes with the same technology, how could they afford to that
-the field marshall and chieftains in reach had sick shielding,
why didnt master chief have the same shields
-what happened to the field marshalls after the rank were removed from the covenant
-why did the covenant waste all their skirmishers at reach
-do the elites have that kind of blue stuff in them like the spartans, and why does a spartan suit weight so much, the arbiter only have small amounts of armor, but he still have the same shielding as master chief
-why cant elites and spartans dual wield swords, they are not that heavy
-it seems like master chief and the arbiter is getting weaker from H2 to H3, because suddenly they cant dual wield the needler, why?
-spartan 3`s cant dual wield, because their HUD isnt made for it, is it so expensive to add something to the HUD
1. Because of the augmentations, and because Humans have only just recently discovered how to use energy shielding, and their methods are not all the affective yet so it costs a lot.
2. The Covenant have had energy shielding for thousands of years, as well as access to the Forerunner tech it was based on, so they have easy ways to improve energy shielding.
3. The Field Marshall rank is still around, it's just not obvious who is or is not a Field Marshall because the armor for the Zealots changed appearance after Reach.
4. They didn't really waste them, the Skirmishers just took very heavy casualties.
5. I'm not entirely sure what you're asking with the first part of this question, sorry :/
Well think about it, they're walking around in full body armor and it has equipment such as the shield generator and other functions for the armor, so it's quite heavy.
6. Only for balance issues in gameplay. They can dual wield swords in canon, like the Arbiter in Halo Wars does this.
7. Needler was removed from dual wielding for balance purposes I would assume, as it was improved in Halo 3, so it wouldn't be fare to carry two of them anymore.
8. Well see, the IIIs weren't really meant to be constantly reused soldiers, they were meant for one single mission and that was it, if they survived enough times, then they were given better armor and equipment. I'm sure that in "real life" they would be dual wielding all the time, whether they had an ammo counter for the second weapon or not. Noble Six does it in the last cutscene of Halo: Reach
