It gets annoying when I go to a different forum to post and I have to wait...

Why not make it so you can't spam on the forum? That way you could go straight from The Septagon to the Flood and post without waiting? What do you think?

I'm certifiable.

That would solve a bunch of problems... but so would designing cars so that they can not crash.

shhhhhhh

Sounds good, but, what if someone who posted somthing spam in the Septagon, the quickly goes to the Flood, spams there, then quickly back to the Septagon? They would be able to spam easier, and also two forums at a time.

But, think of the work it would take, clicking back and fourth, plus there is a double chance a mod would see them...

I like the idea. It would help those who like to post in more than one forum.

Yeah, and I don't think it should apply to groups either...

OR, read another post while waiting, go to some other site / forum, look up pr0n, play halo, or read a book, even go get something to eat. Then post, wait a sec, do it all again.

Its not THAT bad of a time. I havent been hit by it in over a month.

Ding.

You can say "Make it so they can't spam," but that's an empty directive with no sure-shot means to fulfill. You may as well say "Make it planes can't fall out of the sky," "Make computers where they can't get spyware," and "make haggis so it's not cooked in the gut of a sheep."

Ok, Johnrap. Let me explain. My idea is that the spam filter doesn't effect groups or when you switch forums. However, I'm seeing the problems this would cause, as it would have to keep track of all your posts and stuff, so it might become quite laggy...

I'll be on my own side.

Right now, such a feature isn't relevant. There's not too much spam, and the mods have the existing spam well under control.

15 mods can handle the occasional stupid topic I think.

Proof that it is working.
