i installed SP2 and my FPS dropped down to like 9 in crowded areas. so i uninstalled and went back to SP1 ..then I Slipsteamed a CD with SP2 included to get a clean install of SP2 on my Windows CD (thinking that was the prob) and after a clean install and installing nothing but halo it still plays choppy to where i cant play it at all...If i dont hear a fast reply i will have to go back to SP1 and ignore the windows update icon. HELP ANYONE??!!

PROBLEM SOLVED
I pretty sure i fixed it
When you fresh install SP2 Windows seems to have drivers for ATI 9600XT but they are not the catalyst drivers that come with the ATI card. so what i think happen when i installed update SP2 with SP1already installed, it over wrote my ATI drivers with windows video drivers. and i never reinstalled the catalyst drivers the first time i upgraded since i didn't have any idea that the catalyst drivers were over worte. this time when i splipsteamed my Windows Xp disk to include the service pack 2 i relized when it loded windows for the first time that it had installed windows drivers for my video card and when i posted the pervious message i since didn't install my catalyst drivers for my card since i though i didn't need to.
