Alright I give UP!!!

How do you get the top and bottom graphics of the beta.bungie.net site to remain statically positioned within the viewport instead of the canvas, while allowing the text of the page to scroll with browser scrollbar? I've tried a combination of div tags with position:absolute and the only way I can get it to work is to place the text in its own DIV and give it its own scrollbar so you see 2 scroll bars on the page. I guess I just don't have the right combination or know the magical rain dance to do in conjunction with my html to get it to work. So can you educate me a bit or show me where to look?

Thanks, Drew

Dear Drew,

Yes. Our site is indeed mysterious. As a matter of fact, we use a new web programming protocol called WTML or Wizard-Type Magic Language. However, known anti-wizardry spells include scroll bar mojo in Mozilla and curly-quote summoning hex.

what is up with that anyways? Also, no customs colors show up.

It's a issue with mozilla's core rendering algorithms. Unless mozilla drastically alters this, the problem isn't likely to go away.
I still use firefox though! I found a way to scroll using the wheel. Simply click and hold on a link, move the cursor off the link and release. Instant scrolly-wheely action. ^_^

nice! How long did that take you to figure out? Thanks for the tip.

now if only the colors would come up........

I love firefox, IE is crap compared to it. no more pop-ups, no more adware cookies.

Mozilla rocks. I just figured that since Mozilla isn't a Microsoft product, and Bungie is Microsoft's -blam!-, that, well, you know...

Compared to Firefox, IE is a retarded browser. And I'm glad I can't see your colored text.

Not when I'm trying to read something already difficult to read.
