I was thinking the other day, when you drive a vehicle at a marine or elite or throw a grenade towards them. They have the ability to duck and roll. Allowing them to jump out of the way of a moving vehicle or dodge the impact of a grenade! Do you think this is something they should implement into Halo 2, allowing you to do the same? I do, I think it would be sweet. Because if vehicles are going to be faster, why shouldn't you have a few more options when it comes saving your ass!

Ah yes, that's been a request ever since before Halo 2 was announced, and I'm certain that people still want it just as much.

I say aye!

i dont understand how that would work though. if you roll in first person, it might make you dizzy pretty fast.

Yeah, but how would it work? You would have to hit a combination of controls. What would it look like on a FPS? I mean if you are agile enough and you have tried it before. You don't see much until you complete the roll! So if you could roll, then could you also dive? And if could dive, then could you crawl on your stomach? And if you were crawling around on your stomach, then wouldn't that be an awesome snipping position? I think so!

Just do what Star Fox 64 did. When you were in first person mode and did a U-turny thingie (er... I think it was that one... Whatever), it switched to third person mode for the duration of the maneuver. Then you went back to first person.

I like that idea GC13! It would give you a good view of your surroundings! Maybe making it easier to spot and enemy! I don't know, it could be annoying, trying to snipe some gymnast, who wont stop flipping all over the place!
