Subject: The UNSC Should have won the War with no problems.

As my title expresses, the UNSC should of completely annihilated the Covenant. Need a reason? Here:

After reading and studying as much canon as I can, as well as watching origins, it's clear that humanity in the 20th and 21st century in the Halo Universe follows just like the current 20th-21st centuries with the same events occurring. However, something while developing the storyline seems to be hugely overlooked.

September 1939: WW2 Starts.

August 1945: WW2 ends, events shown in Halo Origins.

1949-1991: Cold War period, Space travel invented, events shown in Halo Origins.

November 2001-September 2010: Halo Franchise games released

December 2163: United Nations Space Command featured in the Halo series is created as a real world organization. Events of all Halo canon take place over the next 5 Centuries.

What I'm trying to say is that if the Halo games came out, shouldn't the UNSC already know about the Covenant as well as all the technology, weapons, timelines etc. They basically already have a giant vision of the Future. So they should have been 5 Centuries ready and completely annihilated the Covenant as well as the Flood.

I LIKE CEREAL

well this clearly states that in the future Microsoft(in pursuit of money) will release a halo game so terrible that the games and books will be baned from the unsc and anyone who dare speak of it would be executed

Soon to be breaking news:

US Coast Guard prepares for massive rescue mission after Iranian fleet sinks off shore. Reports say a small thunderstorm caused most of the ships to simply...fall apart.

Oh really? We would have never known that if it wasn't for you. I guess I can sleep peacefully now that I know my descendants won't have a war that leaves our whole species on the verge of extinction. Thank you good sir/lady.

Lol

BTW ,Halo games didn't existed in the Halo verse,so that means xbox probably died out without Halo CE and i would have never played such an amazing game, but at least we all have some reclaimer blood in us

I guess in their alternate universe, Halo isn't as popular like it's counterpart today.

Didact's Reprisal -
Now is the time of our unworlding
One final effort is all that remains
And I am not afraid
We shall fulfill our promise
We fight for the grace of the Mantle
And this time none of you will be left behind

Well, the rebels would also know of the Spartans and so would the families of the kidnapped children. So there's that.

In the Haloverse, when Microsoft purchased Bungie, Halo was cancelled. Jason Jones led the development of a first-person platformer where the player climbs extremely dangerous trees to rescue trapped cats.

Obviously.

I think Halo never came around in...Halo...which means every shooter is either set in WWII or Viet Nam or our "modern day"...
