There's something I don't understand. What are those Covenant ships in Halo Wars? For example, the ship the Spirit of Fire skims in a cutscene? Theres also a few in Halo Legends Origins part 2.

Destroyers and cruisers look different from the regular CCS ships and assault carriers you see in Bungie's Halo games.

To note, he ordered the ship to turn hard to the right, not to keep going straight at the destroyer. Thus the grazing. And at the speeds the two ships were going at each other, charging/aiming the mac would have resulted in a head-on collision.

...but he doesn't.

the interesting thing is, ramming would be hugely effective. ramming a Frigate into a Covenant cruiser would likely annihilate both vessels involved.

-.- So? My point is, is that I love that cutscene! It's not that big of a deal. At least to me, mainly because I'm not being serious.

lol, course it would work! the rediculous thing is they didn't do it, one Frigate for a Covenant Capital Ship, bargain. don't think the shields would make any difference either, just don't see how they could repel that much energy, would design a stealth ship, made intentionally to ram! :D

Hugely effective if there's no point in using the ship in question anymore at that point.

It would be terribly detrimental when the ship is still needed in the case of the Spirit of Fire.
