Tubas Represent!

If you have played the Halo Wars campaign, then you know that at the end, the Spirit of Fire left the planet with all 3 spartan 1s onboard. If you have played it on legendary, then you hear the AI say,"Captain, wake up we have a problem". Although we will probably never know what happened, because know one will make a sequel to Halo Wars. I still think that it would be cool to have those 3 Spartans, in H5. Or atleast in one of the books, to tell us what happened to the SoF. It would be a shocking twist to have MC with a group of Spartans. Post your ideas on what 343 should do to have a conclusion of the Halo Wars campaign.

Red Team were IIs, and I'd prefer the Chief meet up with Blue Team.

As much as i want this to happen as well, i dont think that it will, because in order for Chief to meet up with Blue team you would have to had knowledge of the books, especially GoO.
I would be VERY surprised if 343 would make a game where only the people who have read the books will understand the game.
Bungie had the ideal oppertunity to include Blue team in Halo Reach and establish the relations they had with Master Chief. But they didn't so i wouldn't expect to see Blue team in a game any time soon.

I know the books inside out, GoO being one of my favourites. I'm not talking about the Cgief meeting up in a game. In fact I would prefer they didn't. Ideally I'd love Karen Traviss' GoO "sequel" trilogy and the end of the inevitable Halo 4 to link up. The Chief does what he does, Blue Team and Halsey escape the Dyson Sphere and they join forces again.

Yeah i think a book would do it better than a game. Once you have 2 or 3 more spartans in the game they're either made rubbish so the game isn't too easy or are so good it just becomes them doing all the work

Karen Traviss' is not writing a direct sequel to Ghosts of Onyx!
The books will be set after the events of GoO, but will include a brand new cast of charicters, NOT the charicters created by Nylund.
This has already been confirmed, even by Traviss on her blog.

Hence the quotations marks around "sequel". I'm aware of her blog and what it says but she also clarified that she would indeed be creating new characters as well as continuing Nylund's. She even said in an interview she is excited about working Halsey from a different angle.
