Well first of all you need to grow a giant dick on your forehead.

Haha brilliant :D

Well on topic to be completely honest I'm not really sure. I have had several boosters and have deranked a lot on each of them, and still I don't know why deranking allows my booster to make accounts level up ridiculously fast.

I THINK, it is because the account you derank makes the game expect you (and the person you play with) to lose - as you have such a terrible win/loss record - therefore when you win the game is like "holy -blam!-! this is amazing" and allows the person you are playing with to rank up several levels.

I know it's something to do with sigma, but to be honest your best bet would be to ask someone like Meagss/Simon as they appear to know a lot about it.

The thing I don't understand is why my booster will rank up when playing low levels but when playing high levels it refuses to rank up at all and instead boosts really well. For some reason as soon as the person I am boosting has their rank surpass my boosters, they begin to shoot up 4-5 ranks per win while I don't rank up at all.

I am confused lol

Never ague with an idiot, they will just drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.

When you play with someone who has a lot of losses (The deranker/booster in this case) the game will expect your team to loose since it thinks you have such a terrible player on your team.

So when your team win's it thinks you're amazing since you won with that "terrible" player.

It's the same with number ranks, if a team of three 10's and one 40 go up against a team of four 40's the game will expect the latter team to win so if the former wins then the game will expect the lvl 10's to be better and rank them up quicker.

There's a bunch of heavy mathematics behind it but that is the general gist of the whole thing.

Your 'beliefs' mean less than dick to me.

How does quitting factor into this? I've quit out of games and had my rank increase, decrease, and stay the same, all multiple times.

*EXACT Science behind boosting*
The more lower win/loss ratio that an account has means they are expected to lose, so....throw in a fresh account with a 0-0 win/loss record, run some doubles, the rank of the fresh account will skyrocket(one of my accs took only 19 games). So yeah the lower the win/loss ratio of the booster the faster the new acc will go up! Oh yeah, quiting has nothing to do with it, it's all about losing the game.

Quitting doesn't make a difference at all. Let's say I make a new account with a friend, play nothing but doubles with him, and quit every single game while he stays in. 100 games later, I will be the exact same level he is. Your skill still goes up or down as if you were in the game until the end. The only place it makes a difference in is Lone Wolves. If you quit when everyone else is still in the game, it's an automatic 6th place.

But these rank changes will happen if I quit out of the game fairly early. So the game would still be going on when I'm back in the lobby and my skill has changed, unless everyone else quit too. Don't know how the system would know whether to rank me up or down or what.
