Keep the maps the same size and 10 vs. 10 or more. Also add more maps. Sword flying allowed. triple and double shots gone. bxb in, bxr in. superbounce in etc.

R.I.P. Halo 2 11/9/04-4/15/10
If you havn't played Halo 2 online than you are missing so much. Plus if you have played a good amount of Halo 2 online, I might have a better chance of listening to anything you say.

I personally would rather not have a remake because it most likely won't play the same way and I doubt they'll keep the button glitches. I just want the original Halo 2 brought back up. 10 vs 10 sounds like fun but if it requires remaking the game then forget it.

A remake would be better than staying on Halo 3 or Reach even if it is not as fun as the original. I think to see what glitches stay and what glitches go you should look at the PC version. In the PC version, super bounces are gone but Double shot, BXR and BXB are still there.

Halo 2 for Life!

PC is meant to be played with a mouse and keyboard... Not something I'm intrested in.

Kai/Connect are meant for 1 on 1 games... Not something I'm intrested in.

I was only pointing what glitches were left in on the PC version, which could be the indication of what would be left in on a remake. Also, you can use a controller on the PC version.

It would lag. Halo 3 couldn't handle 8v8 lol. Halo 2 is not getting a remake.

This is the average H2 Fanboy.

50 in H2/H3? Great, but you still fail at this.

PC is just a quick sloppy port. A remake might be like Pokemon FRLG with all the glitches removed.

Gotta agree with you on the pc version being a quick sloppy port. As for the remake the jury is still out on that one, we don't even know how good the company that's gonna do the remake will be. We"ll find out after they release a game, till then hold your judgment. Judge after you play.

As for BTB being 10 vs 10, I doubt it would work. The maps aren't built for that many players playing all at once, plus you gotta add in the lag, and the other connection issues that might stem from all those people playing BTB on the same map.

Actually, from the way it was made and how people complain about the mouse being broken, it was still made to be played with an Xbox 360 controller. Personally, I like using kb/m over controller because I'm used to it, but, h2v's 360 controller support is great.

OT: I'd prefer 10 or more. As long as it were on the appropriate maps.

Why does everyone hate Halo 2? Maybe its because its the worst game ever next to mario.

Yeah 10 on each team would be epic, but man it would lag pretty bad. Halo 2 BTB was great, but if you didn't land a good host to support all those players then the chances are that the game was laggy.

Halo 2 for Life!

na we had 16 players on midship all the time in the last few years. TS BTB on midship and lockout were common. I think those maps could handle 20 people very easily especially the bigger ones and even midship.

Lag was a fun part of the game in H2, and I agree it could handle the lag like no other halo (H3 struggled very hard with 8 vs. 8 that is why they made it 6vs.6). I think in it's current build it could handle 12 vs. 12 but after that more auto assist and stuff would needed to be put in.
