its like a large force of win going through fusion, thus creating a chain reaction of a huge asplosion of win destroying any fail within its awesomeness.

Just recently (a second ago) I was offended by another b.net thread. Thus, wanting it locked I pm-ed a modder...although, it stumbled upon me...what if he isn't on. So I go through the whole list of mods and pm-ed each one about the offensive thread. My suggestion:

The Red Vs Blue forums have under each name and avatar, the online/offine status for the user. That would be very helpful that way I can report an offensive user/thread much more effectively. Thanks

It is the soldier, not the reporter, who has given us freedom of the press. It is the soldier, not the poet, who has given us freedom of speech. It is the soldier, not the campus organizer, who has given us the freedom to demonstrate. It is the soldier, not the lawyer, who has given us the right to a fair trial. And it is the soldier who salutes the flag, who serves the flag, whose coffin is draped in the flag that allows the protester to burn the flag.Father Dennis Edward O'Brien, USMC

Has been suggested many time before to no avail so far,

Not to mention the effects it would have if, by bizzare coincidence, no moderators happened to be online at some time. All the spammers would regroup and spam the heck out of the place.

You could have a report post tab, that puts the post on some kind of database. Some free froums thingys use them.

But then theres always the gmail account so..meh.

Funny that, I just came on this forum so I could make a thread identical to this one, and I found it right before my eyes.

Shame to know that it's been suggested so many times yet with no result though...

We must make a worldwide ban on booze for primates until this idea is realized. You just wait and see how quickly Tom's going to have one made for us.

What is there was a rotating schedule of who to pm. Isn't that better than having to pm everybody?

This is a volunteer job. We come on when it's good for us, and as a result, a schedule would be... not good. Unless we get paid. Then I'm all for it!

2B || !2B - Why don't you look Inside the Machine?

Well if you actually have read MrSmiley's post...Achronos appears and says that they are working on some stuff. I can't remember what...and I am to lazy to check. But some good things are coming. It just depends....but for right now, I would just let the wheels role on the car.

You don't volunteer, you are strapped to a chair at the bungie offices and they force you.

It was a cold day near the southern base in Blood Gulch. Cortana and I were relaxing over a game of Go Fish, WHEN OUT OF NO WHERE 700 BANSHEES CAME FLYING IN!!! I GRABED MY SPARTAN LASER AND LET HELL REIGN DOWN UPON THEM. I HOPPED IN THE NEAREST WARTHOG AND TOLD CORTANA TO GET IN.

This is a volunteer job in the sense that they are not paid- they volunteer their time. That doesn't meant hat anyone can be a mod though. Bungie picks the Mods. To get picked you simply need to be an outstanding member of the communiy. Don't flame, follow the rules, but also be helpful. Hope I helped =P

And I like the idea of an "online" and "offline" indicator. However, for the mods I think Kilroy had a great idea of using a sort of "spam queue" (sorry Kilroy, I might mess up on some details here =/). This spam queue would be a seperate page where you report spam. That way when a mod signs on they can start to work on the spam queue and there isn't a need to PM any of them. Of course, they do have the gmail account, but I never feel comfortable reporting spam to an email account (although that could just be because I never check mine- I'm sure it gets checked often).
