keyboard and mouse is all you need. any type of connection is ok, but there are lag problems in the game no matter what your connection is.

Assuming you've played on Xbox the graphics are much better but you need a good video card to take advantage (128MB or better) or them. There are six new maps mostly large CTF types and new stuff includes: Flamethrower, Fuel-rod Gun, and you can fly the banshee in multiplayer. There is lag that you will have to get used to, you have to lead your shots even the sniper. There are still over 1500 players most nights.

The connection you have will determine part of your gameplay. If you have a slower connection (like a 56k, ahh, good times) you will find it harder to predict where everyone will be, but harder for them to predict where you will be. If you have a good connection, everything including yourself will be easier to hit.

I suggest keyboard and mouse, and set your change weapon/grenade to you mousewheel up/down.

I lead my opponents about an inch and a half. Works perfectly.

u also need good ram and graphics engine to play right. once u have those, it'll look like the Xbox version(if not better) on multiplayer to host a good game, u need DSL or cable connection (i have dial-up so i can only host one up to two players...)
