"A life lived for others is the only life worth living" - Albert Einstein

"I have your RCON right here." - Iggwilv

"Always my pleasure to be lazy." - InvasionImminent

I'm not challenging anything and for your information yes I did. Countless nights playing both Combat Evolved and 2 at LAN parties throughout the night. My parents being so mad at me because they told me to go to sleep, but I'd always end up sleeping through the rest of the next day. I've been there.

You don't have to point out statistics at all to me, they have absolutely nothing to do with what I was saying. I'm just saying that there is a time for everything to pass. That hopefully one day it will be born again. That you should be grateful to Bungie/Microsoft for the time you had instead of claiming that they're -blam!-s for taking it away.

I'm not going to compare each of the Halo games to each other. (Though I don't like each of them equally) They all had traits in which make them special that put a special place in my heart for them. One of the main things that makes Halo 2 special for me is the glitches. (Please don't read into that as a negative statement. Glitches on Halo 2 made that game 10x as fun)

I'm not working against you at all. I agree with you that both of these games should be reborn. I believe both Halo: Combat Evolved and Halo 2 deserve online multiplayer again. The only reason I think Combat Evolved needs it more is because it was never granted its chance on Xbox LIVE. Halo 2 should for many reasons if not just because of how long it stayed top. How much passion is driven into it by the people who still hold it dear. The emotion felt towards this game is obvious though many people might think it's a small number of people, it definitely makes up for it in passion/dedication.

(P.S. One thing that absolutely infuriates me is the fact that Call of Duty Classic has online multiplayer when Halo 2 doesn't.)

50 in H2/H3? Great, but you still fail at this.

Hey Tottally, your teacher would yell at you for using a Wiki.

This is a Reach account that I created the day they announced his name in a bnet weekly update. Any stats regarding ODST or Halo 3 are irrelevant. Also, Halo CE master race. Halo 1 > other halo games > other games.

Account Status: Silver :(

Click the reference links. Halo 3's Wikipedia # is from Jan. 2008 only a few months after Halo 3's release. It's much more than that by now seeing how it's over 3 years since then. I remember it hitting 13 million a couple years ago.

Halo CE is probably gotten a bunch of downloads since 2005 (the reference date), too. I know a friend who never played it because he only played Gamecube, but he bought it off the marketplace when he got his 360.

Halo ODST was marketed as a $60 add on with no matchmaking. It makes sense that it would have low numbers, but still I felt it was a good game. Even ODST's 3 million statistic is from one week after it's release. I personally didn't get it till much later and I know the same goes for others because of the BETA hype.

Reach's numbers are way off because the 3.3 million listed that Reach sold are the amount it sold in the first 24 hours.

we should get everyone to post a thread about bringing H2 back and they might try to do something.

You will get warned and they will tell you to take your threads here.

My experience playing Cairo Station on Legendary

Ha, Bungie doesn't really care about their fans. They used to connect with them, but it seems that they're moving into the conglomerate world where fans are expendable.

...

The H2 forum. Why? Because it has H2 in the title. Either that or they will say "No Petitions"

Welcome to the real world. If you want it your way, you should try using Linux. Oh wait, that fails.
