My Grandfather was a Desert Ranger, my Father was a Veteran Ranger in the NCR. My father was killed by Caesar's Legion and they took my Brother. It's now my responsibility to uphold the mantle of the Rangers and avenge my Father and find my Brother.

The Av-Cam unit projects a separate field around the user.

If it actually applied real-world physics, it would have to be a specially made gun what has a series of cameras and photoreactive plates that would transmit signals from the opposite cam to create the illusion of invisibility. The suit would work in the same way

It is stated multiple times in the books that it bends the light around the user. That is why you can see a distortion effect them when something is using it.

I've seen the technology your talking about, and you don't see any distortion effects.

It is most likely for gameplay purposes. But then again, the needler can fire and none of it's main parts connect to each other.

The person who said participating is important, not winning, obviously never won anything.

It bends the perception of light around the user and mimicks the enviroment. It's not perfect because you can notice the blurs where the ''invisible'' person should be.

But how does your GUN turn invisible?
