I'm not sure if anyone has thought about asking this before, but would'nt it be nice to have a search bar on the bungie.net forums? I mean, being able to search to see if anyone has already written on a thread you want start would be good to limit the constant re-creations of the same thread over and over again simply because they don't want to go page by page to find the thread they are looking for. And it would be nice to be able to go back and see a thread from a while ago. Whaddya think?

"Whatever exists, whatever in creation exists without my knowledge exists without my consent. These anonymous creatures may seem little or nothing in the world. Yet the smallest crumb can devour us. Any smallest thing beneath yon rock out of men's knowing. Only nature can enslave man and only when the existence of each last entity is routed out and made to stand naked before him will he be properly suzerain of the earth."

And now I have found out. Thank you Achilles.

I'd give the mods more excuse to ban spammers. They can just be like "all you have to do is type it in the search bar and you didn't."

It is the soldier, not the reporter, who has given us freedom of the press. It is the soldier, not the poet, who has given us freedom of speech. It is the soldier, not the campus organizer, who has given us the freedom to demonstrate. It is the soldier, not the lawyer, who has given us the right to a fair trial. And it is the soldier who salutes the flag, who serves the flag, whose coffin is draped in the flag that allows the protester to burn the flag.Father Dennis Edward O'Brien, USMC

It would also kill activity becuase people wouldnt amke as many new posts.

Shure t would cut down on spam, but it would also cut down on normal threads.

I want a search, just arguing the other side.

Only the paranoid will survive!

I disagree- It would decrease the new threads made, not the replies.

Lellowranger, I whole heartedly agree that it would cut down on threads like the one I started here. With a search bar, there is no need to complain about the crap we don't need to deal with - like endless spamming...
