I'm just going to point out one thing.

In the Halo Fest panel when they are talking about the armory, they mention something along the lines of no further armory items(or something to that effect) included with the title update.

This doesn't mean, however, that the mystery helmet isn't already in the game files, waiting for the unlock(I'm simplifying this, obviously), or that perhaps we'll see it in the future.

As stated many, many times before.
If that helmet was in the game files, it would of been found.

Well, in theory, there still is a chance. Take for instance the game Batman: Arkham Asylum. There was an Easter egg that went unnoticed by anyone until a year later when the makers of the game revealed it's location. I personally don't believe in the GRD but I'm just making a suggestion that maybe there are things that haven't been found yet.

Nope. SouthPole isn't a person. He's the avatar of the force of tryhards everywhere. He stalks the web looking for retards to set straight. He can not be stopped by mere bans or thread locks for he shall rise anew.

I don't understand how you can call the competitive players "no lifes", but then turn around and go searching for a helmet that doesn't even exist.

  • 08.31.2011 2:06 PM PDT

The helmet exists, 343 confirmed it´s real. Not being able to get it it´s different.

Link or GTFO.

Google is your friend.

Additionally, BS angel said she was going to leave hints on updates. And a fat guy of 343 said on a video that he couldnt talk about that.

Why? because it exists.

They never "confirmed" anything, they never said yes or no. Saying yes it's real would be confirming it.

Whether they are or aren't the concept is still the same. things can be hidden and not found for large amounts of time after release. Batman was a very popular video game and you can't tell me that during the time it was popular that someone did not attempt to hack or mod this game and find this EE?

Apples and oranges are both fruits, yet different.

Halo and Batman are both video games, yet different.

Yes things can be hidden in video games *some had hidden -blam!- hidden for like 10+years*, but the thing is that with this "defiant helmet" it has to have a mesh file somewhere in the data.

No file = No helmet.

if the texture was just a random series of numbers or had a name of something completely differerent like a sign or something I'm pretty sure someone isn't going to be able to go through every single texture and find the one that is the helmate. It happended before and they probably stepped their game up

  • 09.01.2011 9:45 PM PDT

But you know what....-blam!- it why can't we all just wait and see you know. Bickering about it isn't going to u.lock it any sooner all we can do is wait and see if one day, weather or not it appears as a reward for finding skulls or just for being patient .
