Something Witty.

It looks like bungie is tracking steaktackulars, anyone have any theories what the Weekly Update is about?

AND, someone made a BOB helmet for the Bungie All Stars, and the Caption that Bungie put was "Hey Bob"

Edit: Yup I'm late with this info I know.

I'm telling you that Mark 7 appearence in Halsey's journal has something to do with this.

Exactly Duardo.

These Banshees are more durable, and they act differently than other Banshees, but I'm not convinced there are BOBS inside of them. This might be Bungies way or throwing us off.

So the theories are a BOB kill on each mission on Legendary, which I'm two levels off of doing.

Or a BOB medal per campaign mission.

I know for a fact that it is possible to hijack the banshee in New Alexandria but I haven't seen the other banshee in Exodus.

WhiteCastles,Beer, and Halo3; HELLLLL YEAH BIATCHES!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Maybe it's a little more complex than that, maybe you have to kill each BOB on each on each Dificulty so 10 BOBs X 4 Dificulties = 40 BOBs you have to kill?

  • 04.29.2011 8:08 PM PDT

Some BOB's are legendary only but I like the idea.

  • 04.29.2011 8:19 PM PDT

Guys, for the sake of this helmet, kill one BOB per mission on Legendary.

We have to do this theory first and then take on another.

Subject: Regarding BOBS. (Bungie let something slip?)

There is a BOB that spawns for the Legendary difficulty in every campaign mission.

On Youtube and on Google you can find a video for every BOB on every mission.

After about 30+ Exodus searches on multiple accounts, no BOB walks around the mission.

Why are there no "Walkable" BOBS on these two missions? It's simple. There are no Elites on these missions period. It's all Brutes. The BOBS do infact fly on these two missions.

We as a community have to start killing more BOBS! Kill one BOB, per mission, on Legendary difficulty. Legendary is where he is the hardest to kill, especially on Lone Wolf. I keep trying, but I cannot kill BOB (Legendary) on Lone Wolf. He spawns 36 kills in, and there are too many Elites. We need to get together as a community and kill these BOBS!

I feel that there are 16 BOBs (1+6) and the ones found on Legendary that are not gold represent the silver skulls, as previously discussed. 10 missions + 6 extra "BOBs" = 16 . I'm assuming 12 have been confirmed sightings, so 4 are still missing and 2 of which have been identified to be in Exodus and New Alexandria.

Either this and/or kill 77 BOBs or some number combo that equals 7. Very interesting, nonetheless.

*edit* Kill the BOBs!

HC Lone Wolf, I am very educated on the BOB theories, and what they hackers can and cannot do.

Okay okay...... LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL, let's take a small step back,
look at your 3 claims in your first post.

1. BOBS work like Halo: 3 skulls, since the campaign had no skull collectables, or collectables that reward the player something.

2. One BOB medal per campaign mission rewards us like the Halo: 3 skulls did, with armor pieces. The "BOB Mystery Helmet" and the new chest piece are rewarded when 9 out of 10 and 10 out of 10 BOB medals are rewarded.

3. Halo: 3 had a huge mystery, the IWHBYD skull, and hackers ruined it fast. Bungie isn't going to make the same mistake again.

I'm still waiting answers as to where you pulled out 1 & 2 xD.
Before calling yourself educated, answer my question and we'll see after. But you'll probably avoid it for the 4th time.

And sorry, but you seem to know close to nothing about moding.
If you give a moder a disk wit all the files on it, with a bit of experience, he can do what he damn well pleases with it.
Simply "boosting his rank" is but 1 way he can take a look at armors.

Ok this is what I predict Kiras responces to the 'update' will be.
"The weekly update doesn't prove anything, blah blah blah"

"Your continued insistance that it does is completly un grounded, blah blah blah"

Then kira will say somethying about this post.
Note this is just a prediction based off of earlier posts by {ira

Take a step back as well lol.
We have 2 pictures of the "BoB helmet".
Nothing is proven right or wrong until there is a statement from either Bungie or 343i.
If you want to put words in my mouth go ahead, makes you look rather childish quite frankly but hey, thats you, not me.
Say what you want about me, i couldn't care less, you just sound like some butthurt little kid that's been told recently Santa doesn't exist.
-5 for maturity on your part and don't push your luck either.

Let me ask this to the OP.

After a 32 page thread, what exactly have you proven without a reason of a doubt?

Subject: The "BOB" Helmet Theories (Topic Updated)

There are 10 "playable" campaign missions. From what I've seen (Especially on Lone Wolf) and heard, no one has EVER killed one BOB per campaign mission on Legendary. I've been trying to kill one of my last Legendary BOBs on Lone Wolf and it's next to impossible.

The medal theory on each level has pretty much been broken. The BOBS in the Banshees on these levels do count as the BOBS, weather the medal is given or not. These Banshees are more durable, they are faster, and they do not attack you. They flee, just like BOB does. They are the BOBS for these missions.

I ask you guys to please help me by killing a BOB on each mission on Legendary. Take four friends on Lone Wolf and kill 35 enemies and then take BOB down (On Legendary of course)!

Kira, just like in real life, I've accomplished a lot more than you have. I've broken numerous BOB related theories so other people don't have to, and I've paved the way for others to look for BOBS as well. ;D My time isn't being wasted, I mean, look at the size of this topic that you're "ALWAYS" in. lol Sounds like you're the immature mad one here because deep down you know all this isn't a coincidence.

Where did I get one and two from? Halo: 3 of course. It makes sense that there were no collectable skulls in Halo: Reach, and instead we had these special Elites running around. So I based my theory off of what you had to do to get Hayabusa.

What DON'T YOU UNDERSTAND? Do I need to type like an idiot so you can understand how I arrived at 1-2?

WhiteCastles,Beer, and Halo3; HELLLLL YEAH BIATCHES!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That was kinda of the point I was trying to get at...as I mentioned before 10 Bobs X 4 difficulites = 40 well + 8 extra Legendary Bobs= 48 + 10 Campaign Pars = 58 + 19 data pads = "77"

or since it is Halo and not Marathon:

48 Bobs + 40 par difficulties + 19 data pads + 10 secret switches on each level = "117"

last one is really pushing it though....but none the less it still fits!

Kira doesn't understand that I also know a lot about modding myself. I am a member of Se7ensins, I have experience with using Jesper and Xenon JTAGs and I'm quite experienced with searching retail game disks. Even I understand that there are sections of the disk that can't be reached due to the expert coding that Bungie does.

Dude we know, don't let him bother you. He's just a troll.

I agree 100% that if Bungie wanted to hide the helmet on the disk, they could. If anything they learned from the Halo 3 IWHBYD skull, and hid the helmet/armor to prevent hackers/modders from fining it.

  • 04.29.2011 9:14 PM PDT

I know, but Kiras constant trolling annoys me. He asks me where I pulled comments 1-2 from, but yet where I pulled them from or where I got the ideas from is stated right in points 1-2, from Halo: 3. What is so hard to understand about that?

6 extra BOBs = 6 White BOBs

On-topic: Maybe kill all the BOBs in a playthrough on Legendary without missing one? There really needs to be a map or a pattern or something on each BOB to better analyze where they will spawn or discover where they could be. Do they spawn in the same spot, is what I'm trying to ask. If so, where exactly? If not, which areas? Graph the problem and find the answer.

*edit* I type slow... Anything is possible, just trying to find the simplest solution.

In memory I can take you into any campaign mission on Legendary and bring you right to a spot where BOB actually spawns. He has multiple spawns per level. Not all spawns have 100% been found yet.

What DON'T YOU UNDERSTAND? Do I need to type like an idiot so you can understand how I arrived at 1-2?

So letme get this right.

You feel you are a more accomplished person then me in real life simply because how busted some BoB theories that anybody with a straight head could of proven without even playing?
I'm sorry, how old are you exactly, cause frankly, you're sounding like a 15 year old trying to act all high and mighty over the internet.

Do you want a picture of my diploma while i'm thinking about it?

I'm the immature one for actually looking at all the non-sense in this thread from a neutral eye-point?

Look at the size of the "secret of sandtrap" thread and where it lead.

Where DID you find your "BoBs are skulls from halo 3" idea cause it makes no sense.
Let me explain something real quick about it.
Hayabusa was a promotional armor inserted in halo 3 due to DoA4 including a spartan in the game.
This was Bungie's way to say "Thank you and we do the same for you".
As far as collectibles go, remember how Halo CE did'nt have any as well? Yeah, it didn't. Just because something is in one game, doesn't mean it will be in the next.
In short, that theory doesn't hold its ground and is a blindshot.

Here's a short story with LawyerA, LawyerB and Mister Judge.

Judge: So LawyerA, what's your theory.
LawyerA: My theory is that LawyerB's client killed the victim with a knife and then hid it under the bed.
Judge: Where is your proof?
LawyerA: Well the victim got stabbed so i guessed that's what he did.
Judge: Insufficient proof, case closed.

Lesson of the story?
You bring a theory up, better be ready to back it up or be ready to have it torn apart.

Now ill ask you again, do you have any kind of proof that can be accepted without any reasonable doubt?
