High Charity had backup generators, the ones seen in Halo 3. The Dreadnought wasn't the sole source of power.

but even with reserve power that is a trek through slipspace.

well it would take a fair amount of power to enable a slipspace jump with a ship like that

Covenant tech is pretty advanced. It's not unlikely that the generators were capable of the jump.

He skimmed the event horizon of a plothole, gaining sufficient velocity to catapult into slipspace. Coincidentally enough it's also how Johnson and Keyes got to earth before the elites.

well said but Johnson and Keyes and the Arbiter got to earth before the Elites because Rtas and the elites tried to contain the flood at the battle of Delta halo whereas the others went straight to earth

By the power of truth, I, while living, have conquered the universe.

Would have made much more sense if they just said Rtas gave them a lift to Earth on the retaken ship, then the rest of the Sangheili fleet put Installation 05 under quarantine.

He used his Precursor magic,to magically reach the ark without the portal and even with the slow Covie FTL drive.

no he may not be precurser (or he may be...) but he might still have precurser magic

We haven't decided yet if he's a Precursor or not. I wonder what happened to those threads anyways...

All the evidence points to the Prisoner being a Precursor, people can only argue it by saying he "might" be lying. Which sounds ridiculous really. And the Prisoner is definately the same person as the Gravemind because there is overwhelming amounts of evidence on that subject going back to his very introduction in Halo 2.

he may be precursor or he may have been created by precursors, another theory is that he was a precursor who was infected by the flood. also i agree with him being gravemind because the prisoner goes onto the ring that goes missing which is held by mendicant bias.

High charity most likely had a power system like the hierophant. The difference was it most likely was shut down due to the keyship providing all the power needed.

Back ups in the event of a emergency or in the event of the keyship actually leaving High Charity. If thats the case then the prophets possibly knew that the keyship had to be used to reach the ark or another place of great importance

Indeed, or they were active but not pumping out as much power due to the keyship.

I don't know if they knew they would need to use the keyship to get somewhere, but it would be stupid to not have a backup.
