Last Night I was playing Halo:Reach, picking up and playing the game after not touching it since the release of Call of Duty and Fallout: New Vegas...
I remembered how much I loved Halo, the guns, the Health, the vechicals.... Everything! So I wandered on to Bungie to look at my old stats and eventually made my way to the top forum list, something Ive never been on this site (The Forums).. It was all about how -blam!- Reach was. This made me angry at Reach because its flaws shone through again! As I read though, I saw more people talk about Halo 3...
I got sad, I missed Master Chief.... It seemed like a life time ago I was on the Ark with him, fighting wave after wave of enemy, trying to get to Cortana and trying to save the universe. Soon I was sulking around the house and headed to bed. I started looking up the Halo Nation wiki and reading about it and all my memories kept flooding back.
The first thing that came into my head was to say this.
Thank you Bungie.
If It wasnt for Bungie and all you halo enthusiasts I would have a hole missing in my heart. Halo meant so much it me, From master chief to Cortana, from Guilty Spark to Arbitor. I really just want to say thanks for making such a amazing Franchise and Story that will never again be beaten by anthing from a Movie to another game!
I remember thinking to myself after I played Halo 3 that I want to be Master Chief, he was my Hero! He was the ulitmate soldier and protector of the earth, and every twist and turn in the Halo world has made him even more amazing.
In Halo wars the first time I saw a Spartan run past the screen my Heart jumped, On reach I was furious as the spartans died out and in Halo 3, even at the start of the game, I was still urging the Chief to get up when he crash landed in Africa..... IT WAS THE START OF THE GAME!!! lol...
I know its just a game to some people but It meant alot to me and I just want to say thank you to everyone involved in anyway in Halo from Bungie to the Haters... you've made it awsome
TL;DR Halo is the best story/Game/franchise in History.
