Subject: What was your favorite part of the ODST campaign?

Having Fun with Lost Platoon

ODST was an amazing game, despite what some people say and it had many great moments but the best was probably crazy warthog mania on Uplift Reserve! :>

The atmosphere was great. The music was superb. I liked roaming around the dark, gloomy Mombasa Streets. The characters were very likable. People we could relate to. The voice acting is another thing to add on to the list. I could listen to them bicker back and forth for hours. lol. Also, the silenced weapons and VISR mode. Plus the whole aspect of being an ODST was great. I like ODST's better then Spartans. They're more human, imo.

Yeah, this right here.

One part of the campaign I liked very much was the last level, where you're driving on the highway.

I dunno, I just liked that whole "the city is in the covenants' control....time to gtfo of there!!!" feel to it...Having the occasional cruiser fly over you was a nice touch as well.

Winning or losing doesn't really matter much to me. I play for fun, and nothing you can say will change that. Sure, I have a low K/D, sure, I have a low rank in Halo 3, but I really don't care. It's not like it actually means anything. It's a number. And for the record, opinion and fact are two completely different things.

free roaming, because while you walked for clues, it had that relaxing music.

free roaming with my friend in mongooses and finding jumps and gaps and running over covenant. Good times

It's funny because in that Highway mission you feel 100% more invaded by the Covenant than the whole Reach campaign.

I like all the audio logs. :D And roaming around the city and pretty much everything. Only thing I don't like, which is more a problem with me than the game, is it's hard to get used to not being a spartan [ie; not having rechargeable shields]

the part on top of the roof when everyone has the turrets and lasers it had an epic build up,

and the end that long ass highway in the tank and the final hold out in the building, both parts were firefight levels but i loved them in campiagn becasue i felt like the odst campaign built up moments soo well might have been a better campaign than reach if it wasn't so short

The battle in set in Kzingo Boulevard in the mission of the same name (second-last battle of the mission, if I remember correctly). It gave me that urban-combat feeling that the rest of the game so dearly lacked.

i love all of it, but i really like the first cutscene of the game though

You can buy the whole album off iTunes.

The free roam parts. The whole feel where you're a BA, stuck behind enemy lines, fighting the whole way, trying to find your squad... I just like the feel.

the last mission

Well then, you somehow found my signature, nice job, so time for your prize.............FLOODIANS! ATTACK! Also, those socks do NOT make you look handsome.

I loved Halo 3 ODST, it was a master piece running through the streets and pwning almost endless AI in the map. So New Mombasa Streets was my favorite part. Despite what people may say, i love the game, it was amazing.

Seriously? The entire game had an urban feel to it.But i respect your opinion, though i disagree with it. Plus the entire game had an urban style with all the buldings and roads you can take to get to one location, but multiple ways to get to that exact spot.

Cop lights, flash lights
Spot lights, strobe lights
Street lights
Fast life, drug life
Thug life, rock life
Every night

The cops pwned all types of ass. Give them a shotgun or a rocket launcher, hell, even an Assault Rifle and they went berserko with that shiz!

I guess piecing together everything that happened during the day while the Rookie was out cold was pretty cool. When the game starts out you really don't know what has become of everyone else or what is going on at that moment, and there's a sense of isolation. But eventually you meet up with the crooked police officer and then Dare, and everything wraps itself up nicely into the story of an Engineer-rescue mission.

If I were to pick a specific moment from the game... well, I thought it was kinda cool how Buck patched Romeo's wound up with that canister of stuff that resembled foam sealant. Kinda gave us a glimpse at some of the futuristic but not too unrealistic technology in the Halo universe.

I liked the bio-foam patch-up, as well. However, I liked it when they took down the Brute Cheiftan.

Couldn't have said it better if I tried.
