I'm not talkin about the original one.

I'm lookin for the one where they used the warthog to basically throw themselves across the map without dieing.

I remember watching that video a long time ago but I cannot seem to find it.

Better explanation of video:
- The person would stand on the turret of the warthog, throw a grenade under the warthog, then jump and the warthog would hit the spartan across the map high and far, but they wouldn't die.

Anyone know where to find that video?

A ton of movies made by the tricking community include person launching. So, I'm not really sure how to respond. I mean, for instance, here's an old Dark Helmet launch video (from 2005), but there's no shortage of launching videos.

Heck, the grunt-oriented video I rushed for HIH's closure includes an overshield launch at the end.

High Impact Halo, which was a sort of hub of classic Halo tricking for seven years, just went from active site to archive earlier this month, but its tricking archives and locked forums still exist, and all of the videos with HIH mirrors and most with youtube mirrors still work.

//=====

If you do go to High Impact Halo, a link to the trick video archives is on the left of the front page.

A tutorial thread for launching exists in the Halo 1 forum on the website, though many of the video links are dead.

Grumpy, a Halo 2 forum member who was also a HIH regular for many years, posted this thread in the Halo 2 forums, showcasing a whole bunch of Halo 2 tricking stuff.

Sorry if this seems aimless and vague; you came in asking for a video, and the description you gave is a major part of what a thriving community was doing for most of the last decade.

Yeah, the first video you posted is what I'm talkin about.

I don't think it was the exact one; but it's one like that one.
