I'm gonna start by saying I own Halo Combat Evolved, Halo 3, ODST and Reach. Now I just want to know why I have to have a PC version of halo to get the halo nameplate. Not cool Bungie.

What do they mean?

Bungie doesn't own the servers to tell if you have played Halo for Xbox; Microsoft does. Bungie can't read your game history for an Xbox game.

no. nonono

I'm not sure how you expect Bungie to know if your console has ever played a game that has no LIVE. Yeah, it is impossible to tell, that's why they used the computer version instead, and that's why I missed out.

Yes, I understand they would have no way of knowing but what if I took a picture of Halo CE next to a pic of my gamertag on my tv, That seems fair enough. Why must we buy halo pc version to get nameplate if we have already purchased Halo? There should be a way to confirm this because people are not getting what they deserve.

Halo Waypoint Stats

People would just photoshop pictures so they could get the nameplate besides the PC version is only £10 and is well worth it.

Sorry dude, that's not practical at all. It would be way too much work for them.

Now, in the quantum moment before the closure, when all become one. One moment left. One point of space and time.

I know who you are.

You are Destiny.

Like many have said above me, Bungie can't tell if you've played Halo: CE on the original Xbox. If CE was released on the 360, then yes.

I know it sucks, but the only way around it is to purchase Halo PC. And no, keygens will not work in this situation.

I bet Bungie would love to come over to your house to check and make sure you're not lying. Have you tried calling Stosh? He's pretty cool.

Halo 2 had online capabilities. If you played Halo 2 online at any point you would have gotten the nameplate.

When we began to play Halo, we took an oath!
According to our station! All without exception!
On the blood of our fathers, on the blood of our sons, we swore to uphold the Seventh Column!
Even to our dying breath!
Those who would break this oath are heretics! Worthy of neither pity nor mercy!
We shall grind them into dust! Wipe them as excrement from our boots!
And continue our march to glorious salvation!

I think you should get Halo PC. I own it for Xbox as well, but I purchased it for PC because I am a Combat Evolved diehard.

The best thing is that it has multiplayer - imagine 6v6 Bloodgulch with randoms! It's a shame that LIVE wasn't around when CE ws out, because it would've made a brilliant game even better.
