I started up the heated debate on whether the SPARTAN-II in the cryo tube near the end of Reach is really Linda.

So I've been thinking for a while on the possibility that Forge is a 1.1. He was born soon before Orion was broken up. He did fight a Spartan and was only stopped by Serina. He killed a Arbiter (although in a cheap way.) Could it be possible he was a 1.1?

No. He just a simple Sergeant that was promoted 5 times and demoted trice, it's simple as that.

Get some evidence that supports your theory and maybe it will have credit. As of now, no, he is just a Sarge.

None of it connects. He isn't a Spartan 1.1

We will know soon enough, but it will require thought. Deep thought. Mendicant Bias must be found. The Mantle will soon follow.

This doesn't seem to be enough solid evidence to base your theory off of. It does seem interesting, however highly unlikely.

None of that proves he was a 1.1. We don't know the specifics of his fight with that spartan and his fight with the arbiter wasn't anything special.

By the power of truth, I, while living, have conquered the universe.

Spartan-1.1s are in a state of canonical limbo because it's not confirmed whether or not I Love Bees is canon or not. However due to the large amount of inconsistencies I'd say it isn't, Staten said it's not canon until Frankie contradicted him a year later. :/

I saw no evidence of him being a spartan 1.1

We should know by now his defintion of evidence is flimsy at best.

Or grasp of canon...

Don't worry, you're still your mom's favorite Bnet member.

No. He was just a Sergent. A damn good one, but nothing more nonetheless.

I'd believe it's canon considering that Staten said his favorite spartan was Johnson...

...........................

Johnson is a spartan 1. How the heck does that deal with Spartan 1.1s?

Johnson is a Spartan-I, we actually have proof that the ORION Project is canon because it's in Contact Harvest and the Graphic Novel. In no way does this make Spartan-1.1s canon.

Only six SPARTAN 1.1s were ever named and most, if not all, were born around 2535, 4 years after the events of Halo Wars.

Whoops, I missed out on the 1.1 part.

Now I'm completely lost though. What are 1.1s?

1.1s are the children of the SPARTAN-Is.
