Wrong Forum. Repost this in New Mombasa. And no. The rockets are slower and the blast radius is smaller.

A cheat is a hidden feature or glitch in a game that can be used to give a player an unfair advantage in the game. Something that is a constant and consisten part of gameplay and available to all players is not a cheat. it is a feature.

and ops agent is right, this belongs in the halo 2 board.

I think it is offset with the boosting option on the vehicles.

bah

I don't think I'll use it too often. A well placed dummy rocket is really effective. The lock-on rockets can miss due to the fact that vehicles are really maneuverable. A well-placed dummy rocket will always hit.

No it's not cheating, vehicles are cheap ways to pick up kills on players on foot so Bungie has put in ways to counter this. The rockets are a bit faster, but the radius is smaller. The rockets are only heat seaking to vehicles, not players on foot so it's a gread add-on. Bungie is wanting to add in more large maps for online play while keeping vehicle spammers from doing nothing but driving around as well. They did this with the heat seaking rockets, ability to board vehicles, destructible vehicles, no vehicle respawn until the vehicles are completely destroyed, and last but not least.. no driving with the flag. I love Bungie and what they did is not cheating, it's down right genius.

To the guy saying you can only hold the rocket, you have your facts mixed up. Number one.. dual wielding is NOT that great. You can't melee or throw nades while dual wielding so against any good player someone dual wielding wouldn't be a bad thing, it'd be an easier kill.. throw a couple nades, duck away.. and pistol or battle rifle em once and dead. Actually if anything it will end up being a bit of a weakness unless you're playing crappy players.
