Does this regard the PS3? If it does, then Hell is coming...

I am confused by your post. This is about careers at Bungie, not PS3...

Bungie is very selective about who they hire. Since they are such a big name gaming company there is a huge number of people who want to work there. This means that they can afford to only hire people with experience in the industry.

I know and it sucks. I want to get into the industry, but don't want to and don't have the coding skills to be an indie game developer. I want to work with the interface design, community writer, or associate producer; I have a bachelor's in information science, not computer science or a master's; so I don't have the proper programming skills. I do have other skills though!

What you should do is find a job in some smaller game company and use it to hone your skills. Even though you are not an expert programmer, find a company who needs someone with your skills. Other companies need UI designers, and if you can use that to make an impressive portfolio then that will give you a better shot at working for Bungie.

Could you maybe give me an example of a smaller game studio? Because I really only play Halo and Gears anymore. So I only know the major studios.

You got to keep in mind that in any industry whether it be the game industry, media, whatever that you will never be able to go from school straight to the top company unless it's an internship. Start low to gain access higher up
