I'm not making excuses. I never claimed to be good. I have never played any colonel better than me though.

How can I become better, faster?

98% of the people who play this game are garbage. If you're one of the 2% who isn't, copy & paste this into your signature.

Should I play with a team to improve? I always go into matches alone and micless.

Micless? Really?
Should I communicate with my teammates. I hardly play matches where anyone has a mic. I just figured I didn't need it.

If it's a team game never enter without a mic.

Lone Wolves is adequate wit out a mic because theirs no one to help, but yo self.

Run wit a team in team games tho, no SH1T yo

If you play against a good player for awhile you will become good in a short time.

It took me 2 years to get good, then took me 6 months after words to become great. Now I just fail, get a ninja triple kill, then get teabagged by the last team mate that had rockets.

A team can be good, but sometimes going in solo is the best way to become good. Just do everyone a favor don't play as a dino unless your playing swat.

wanna play?
if you do you will probably hear me say "jesus flying kangeroo balls a lot".

It took me 1 year, which I find fairly quickly i've been playing this game for about one and a half year, and i'm beating generals (not that rank means anything)

I played with regularity from June 09 to ~December 10, and in that time I only got one 50. I never did get to the point where I'd consider myself good by 50 standards, but compared to the vast majority of players, I was way above average.

Probably took most of the people who I'd consider good about 2 years to get to that point.

How many matches did you average each day?

Around 10-20. I didn't start getting better until I started playing with better people.

btw you are pretty good already, but since you haven't played halo 3 ever but you have played reach, i'm gonna count your halo 3 k/d as a second acc, on second accs I usually have an average k/d of 4.5

Heroes never die.

When I got RECON armor I became good. Also I have bad and good days.

  • 04.24.2011 10:23 AM PDT

Stuck It.

In my opinion, it depends on what you do to better yourself.
I had HaloCE/3/ODST long before I could finally buy Xbox live, and the countless hours of replaying levels in the campaign/firefight on legendary helped me.

When I finally got live, I was able to beat those who were at my 'level' with no difficulty, until I hit my personal 'wall' at LVL30. So now I really have to think and analyze before I step through that man cannon, or make sure I'm reloaded before walking around that corner, among other things.

I've played Halo 3 a little bit before. I am unexperienced.
