I would say that i am fairly good. Don't look at my halo 3 KD and Win% because that will just say bad stuff about me because i normolly play Co-op on multiplayer so i a the geust. Basicly is what they are sayin. Practice. I ill go a little more in depth however.
1st,Find your sensitivity level. Some people say 10 only but that is not true. I play on 7. Its fast but still able to get those precise shots. It is also your personal prefrence, it will take practice to master but it is very, very worth it.
2nd, know your maps. knowing where the guns are are very important. i never used the figure rockets spawn every 90 seconds thing so every 90 seconds go get them. I dont do that but you can. not only knowign where the weapons are, but knowing the timing of where the other team is at the same time as you. If you are going for the rockets, they are to!!!! so know the timing on where they will most likeley turn the corner. then you can get their sheilds down with a nade and some quick bursts will kill em and you'll have the rockets as well :).
3rd, TIMING IS EVERYTHING! Know the range of your weapon. know what gun the enemy has. When you get shot at, figure out what weapons your enemy has. make a proper threat assesment. Figure out what you should do. run or gun as i say. halo takes inteligence to play esspecailly on objective games. threat assesments are key to staying alive and killing people. Also, don't just spray and pray, it is better to fire in bursts then full-auto.
Thats basicly what i will tell you to do. those 3 are very useful to get and stay good. Before i leave this post i will tell you about how im good. It took me two weeks to get good. It took me 2 weeks to figure out the maps and get gun accuracy down also the firing rates and other stuff that i really don't want to write about.
Other main points that i could talk about but won't (unless your really curious) are:
Stealth
Teamwork
Weapon choice
Vehicile choice
When to semi-camp
and figure out what your good at
Those are also just a few that i could talk about
Also these are semi pro tips i would say. I personally have been rated by a pro gamer assesment group and could go pro and be a pretty good pro if i wanted to. But going pro is not what i want to do in life. So do with these tips what you want, but they are good ones
