I used to play H3's Campaign 24/7. But now it's gone and I've mostly lost interest in Halo.
Of course, I'm exaggerating. I only played for 2-4 hours.
Anyways, Halo 3's campaign does seem to be boring, but that's only when you run through it. You have to appreciate the internal stuff to embrace the entire level.
Here's a list of things you can do:
-on The Covenant, bring a Hunter and Arbiter up the elevator and you can get them in the cutscene. I only got a screenshot for this one.
-on The Covenant, be sure that all your Elites are alive. Grenade/fuel rod/brute shot jump into the dark terminal room and step on the elevator, but don't activate it. Go down to the door where the Elites are at. The Brutes will come to your position. When you see red on your motion sensor, go through the door. The Brutes will turn around. Easy assassinations. It can be challenging since they might see you while you follow them. Click here to see me ambush the Brutes, instead of them ambushing me.
-on The Covenant, you can have up to four Arby's fight 12 Brutes. It's a simple battle, but the setup is what makes it fun. Read more about it here.
-on The Covenant, you can have an army of marine piloted Hornets. The highest number I got was 27 or 28. Around that number, the AA Wraith shots will be invisible and there will be lag. Click here to see awesomeness.
-on The Covenant, you can get half Flood characters. Elites, ODSTs, Marines, and Brutes can be affected. I don't have a video for ODSTs or Elites, but I got one for a War Chieftain.
-on Floodgate, you'll notice that the Spec Ops Elites are pathetic. But their shields are slightly more stronger than Majors. Turn on Mythic, pick up spike grenades. Stick them, take their sword, wait, give it back to them. 4 Spec Ops Elites with swords will be very useful against the Pure Forms, and unshielded combat forms.
-on The Storm, melee the small wings off the AA Wraith, hijack it, bring it to the Scarab area. Position it where the Troop Transport Warthog was. Wait for the checkpoint after all the enemies have been destroyed. Save and quit. Resume, wait, wait, boost at the same time the Scarab's leg comes down. If you did it right, you should be sent flying. If you time it right, you can exit the AA Wraith and board the Scarab. Also, you could overload the map and you can go to the next part unhindered. This is how to use an AA Wraith.
PM me if you want to know more. I have a lot more in store for the community. I just can't get the footage...
