I started up the heated debate on whether the SPARTAN-II in the cryo tube near the end of Reach is really Linda.
I created the Moa XING avatar pic.
Also I earned the All Star nameplate with this submission to Week 14 All Stars http://www.bungie.net/images/News/Inline11/bwu_0415/art/likea boss.jpg

Of course in the world of Halo that is. How do you think human history books will depict the Innies, Spartans, Covenant, the whole picture?

Have you seen my mind anywhere? I seem to have lost it...

0x0 x0x 0x0 000 000 x0x 000
x0x 0x0 0x0 0xx 000 0x0 000
x0x x0x x00 0xx 0x0 x0x 0x0

I have seen you future

History is written by the victors. In this case it is the UNSC. They insurrectionists will be seen as evil (similarly to the Vietcong in US history textbooks). They will be shown as terrorists and murderers, and their motives will be played down.

The Spartans will be depicted as heroes. They will probable consider some KIA by then, and they will be the valiant vanguards of humanity. The history books will probably overlook how they were kidnapped, or at least depict it as a necessary evil.

The Covenant will be shown as religious zealots hellbent on destroying humanity (which they were). The Covenant separatists will be an interesting story, since they have both killed millions and saved humanity. Similarly to how we (the current Halo fans) view the Arbiter they will be given a pass on the genocidal part of their existence and instead be judged on what they did at the end of the war.

Maybe the Separatists would be compared to Russia when they helped us out in WWII

Much confusion and wrong facts. Too much data was lost, and there are so few alive that rebuilding will be the focus for the next centuries.

Staff Sergeant future 510, serial number HHT3-09PL, Flood Military Reserve.

Standard school issue texts will come with a seperate volume dedicated to just that 25 year portion of history.

Not that few 200 million just on Earth, and one of the 5 colonies never discovered by the Covenant had about 500 million

Don't worry, you're still your mom's favorite Bnet member.

The Forerunner and the Flood will not be included, that's for sure.

Still extremely few considering the total population consisted of over 23 billion.

But point being, too much information and knowledge was lost when planets were destroyed and Cole Protocol activations.
