The community has left Halo 3. It's dying, slowly but surely.
Everything on Bungie.net and on the playlists is proving you wrong right now. Halo 3 was practically dead when Halo Reach was released. It had around 2000 players online at any one time, and 60,000 players over 24 hours, at best. Now it has grown to almost 250,000 players in 24 hours at weekends. That's immense, even for newly released games. Playlist are working better now than they did at Christmas, and more people are populating ranked games.
Your theory that Halo 3 is dying couldn' be more wrong.
I would say it's in the early to mid stages but I will be correct. Look at COD4. MW2 was released, some of the hardcore kids stayed on 4. In fact there are still people on it now, but it's basically at the morgue.
Halo 3 is on it's way out, don't deny it. Also, the Heff is never wrong.
