Halo 2 for Life!

Why then, in the hopes of keeping its halo fans happy, didn't they keep Halo 2 on XBL.

Even if it was a large cost to them, I don't see how it would help them with their relations with their halo fans.

The biggest cash cow for them was their halo fans. It's what made their company so successful.

I don't think they understood the implications of the removal of Halo 2 as I don't think those making the decision even played halo games...

Sad beyond belief, and we are seeing some of this upsetness in the reach forum, in this forum and in all forums as a large decline in population has occurred in the forums and in halo games to other games which don't upset their fans like Microsoft and Bungie have done.

Never give up, never surrender!

Your absolutely right. If anything, had they kept Halo 2 online I'm sure most Halo 2 veterans would be more inclined to try a new Halo game to see if it compares.

If it was costing Microsoft "money", why didn't they try other alternatives. Like maybe asking if the Halo 2 community would be willing to pay for the server or something like that.

I mean, the Halo 2 community is the most loyal community I've ever seen and I'm certain we would have at least attempted to do that.

50 in H2/H3? Great, but you still fail at this.

Most halo fans didn't care about H2 anymore, and H2 was dying anyway.

Note how XBL went out with a whimper, while PSN, which has been down for 6 days, is already causing an outrage. There's a difference: XBL was dead, PSN wasn't.

They were doing that, but the number of people who still played Xbox 1 games was going way down.

It's not a loyal community, just a bunch of kids screaming "Bring back H2" on bnet with no action whatsoever.

Halo 2 for Life!

It's funny when you pretend you represent others with your opinion when you barely represent yourself well.

Try communicating and learning from others, instead of shutting off others.

I see your opinion as important but the way you communicate it is very ignorant of others viewpoint.

Communication is better when you listen as much as you talk. Listening involves trying to understand what others are saying. I think you would benefit from listing more.

We are not enemies, we have different viewpoints. Recall this whenever you attempt to communicate with me.

I'm just going to say this.

I sent you the phone numbers for the people you can contact over H2. If you really care, call them.

Your post is ironic though, as you talk about being open, yet you are closed.
