Be honest ... not just now ... be HONEST!
As far as realism in scenery, I really like the new graphics in Reach. As far as game play, I really hate the new graphics in Reach, at least for Multi-player.
The scenery is so much better, that the only obvious characteristic it lacks is shadows for scenery objects. Vehicles and players have shadows, but plants and rocks don't. I also noted they still have not overcome that business of the shadow of a player passing through opaque surfaces ... floors.
However, the change in red an blue for the players gives blue an unfair advantage that did not occur in the previous Halo games. In fact, in The Spire, it seems to be set with a color scheme that gives blue extra cover. Both red and blue are harder to see now, and I suppose that was an attempt to ad more "realism", but, over all I have trouble seeing blue opponents if I don't "scope".
I do miss dual-wielding Needlers, but agree that was much too powerful for Multi-player. On the other hand, a power scope on a Magnum? Really now.
As far as Campaign, I can tell you the best Halo game will not have a story line so short you can finish it in an afternoon, like in ODST.
The story should involve the rings more, and more space battle, for sure. Isn't that what Halo is all about?
