It is a private connection though. The sharing you're talking about has already taken place, and that's the available bandwidth for that connection.

I wish I could say I played on that connection, but it's for grad students / professors only.

I told you already.

Halo runs on a slower framerate than CoD.

The human eye can't detect the difference.

Motion pictures run at 24 frames per second, I guzz tey lookz bad rite?

They can and they do you idiot. The human eye can't really tell a difference between 60fps and anything above that, but we can most certainly tell the difference between 60 and 24 fps.

Nope, you are wrong.

If this was the case do you really think Blu Ray would still be running at 24FPS which has been the industry standard since essentially the birth of film? Answer = No.

Films are run at 24FPS so that they look fluid, not because we can't perceive the difference between 24FPS and 60FPS. In fact, they're run at 24FPS because people think 60FPS looks weird.

lol, the only tryhard here is you trying to claim you know something about a subject where you actually know nothing.

Why do you think racing games strive for 60fps?

Seriously, go race a lap in FM3 then watch the replay from the exact same view. The difference between 60fps and 30 fps is very very noticeable.

So by that logic 60FPS is actually inferior to 24FPS?

Keep tryhaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaarding kid.

Kanatix - (Kah-nah-ticks) (N.) - One of the few people that had Recon BEFORE ODST came out.

Maybe it has something to do with your disc. My Halo 3 disc is pretty rooted and every now and then my screen will freeze four times in-game. It's like freeze, continue, freeze, continue, freeze, continue, freeze, then it stops. It only freezes for about half a second but it happens about every half hour, and only on Halo 3. I get screen lag in Black Ops sometimes but it's not consistent like the four times in Halo.

So maybe if your disc has seen better days it's affecting your in-game framerate.

And while Halo 3 does only run at 30fps while COD runs at 60 it's not such a drastic difference that it should be confused with lag.

Thank God...I thought I was the only one that happened to. lol

What?

Also Unfit Earth, go play Blops for 2 days then play Halo 3. I can guarantee you will notice the difference between 30fps and 60fps.

Halo 3 is probably running sub 20fps most of the time. Ever look bottom-mid on Snowbound with a sniper when a bunch of ppl are fighting? It drops to about 7-10fps. It's awful. I can't believe there's that much framerate lag in an FPS.

The campaign may run at 30fps, but the MP sure as hell doesn't.
But hey if you think it's running at 30fps well I guess ignorance is bliss.

No, on the basis that Blops is terribad and that I don't have bionic eyes that can somehow magically detect what the normal human eye can't.

Yes. I am a Battle Rifle machine. The DMR is a poor replacement.

Lol don't be mean to the Mexicans! Sure they have bad connection and talk about burritos in a different language, but at least they're awful Halo players and easy to kill! Haha just kidding just kidding Mexicans out there don't troll this! xD

  • 04.28.2011 3:21 PM PDT

I miss Halo. Maybe Halo 4 will change that.

Edit: Lol nope

Call of Duty runs on 60fps where as Halo runs on 30fps.

The funny thing is your brain can't tell the difference.

I think he's trolling.

It can. When I went on my gaming rampage last year I played nothing but MW2 for 4 months straight. When I went back to Halo 3 I could definitely see the difference in frame rate and it made Halo 3 unplayable for me until I got used to it.

Like 2 people believing what they read and 3-4 people who actually noticed the difference with there own eyes. Idiots in this thread or what?

Haven't you noticed when Spartans turn, they turn in very fine 'increments.' I mean how can't you see it?

Reach added motion blur to fix that.
