Uhh guys i'm really sorry if this has been brought up before, but i really don't feel like nor do i have the time to read through that sticky about the Bungie.net feedback. So i'll just ask you nice bunch of folks (much nicer than Zanzibar).

Well i've noticed that i can't edit blacklists, or delete them, because of a bug of some sort. The page loads and everything, but when i look at the date i see its the same as before...and when i delete one its still there. I was wondering if anyone else had this problem or was it just my computer/internet alone?

Thanks in advanced for some good feedback...

I am assuming this is in one of the groups you either founded or are a moderator of? If so, that is what is supposed to happen. You have the ability to edit blacklistings to make them permanent, shorter than the normal 7 days or to delete the blacklisting altogether.

Yeah i know but i think shouldn't i be able to delete my own blacklists surely? And even when i edit them, like say i make a mistake and put 12/12/12 instread of 12/12/2012 then when i press submit it says you must follow the format. So i make it like the right format but it magically chnages again to the originial. And it keeps doing that, and its very similar to the Group Finder glitch. And sometimes i need to do this because sometimes people are accidnetly blacklisted and if i can't do anything about it that would really suck.

Well, I'm sure when Achronos came up with the system, he didn't expect somebody with the ability to edit blacklistings in a group would get blacklisted from the group; since that would mean someone with more authority than that person blacklisted him for breaking the rules. If you get blacklisted from a group, you shouldn't be given a role with power.

You must make the blacklist expire sometime in the future (even a minute into the future), are you doing this? See, if you were to go and edit a blacklisting today and you wanted it to end today and you just type 01/20/2006 and don't put a specific time, the system will automatically fill in 12:00 AM. The problem is, 12:00 AM already passed, so it is not in the future. If I were to edit a blacklisting right now, I'd fill in 01/20/2005 4:10 AM or something to that effect so it ends as soon as possible.

Come to think of it. I was once accidently Blacklisted because of a bug when someone was trying to edit my post, Then i actually went back on the site and deleted my blacklisting.

Im just that good.

No, you see i'm the founder. I'm supposed to have full control over everything. This time i made sure my group was safe, anyhow besides that. I mean, its like the find a group search. Say you search for, Marine Corps. You see it there, then you go back and you want to search for another group. You type in the name, ODST Recon, for example. But for some reason, it shows up Marine Corps again. WTF is up with that? Its the same thing with the blacklisting, if i make a mistake and the system tells me to change it, i make it like two days from now. But when i press submit the same page comes up, but it still says my old thing.

For example:

I want to edit a blacklist from 7 days to two days later from today. So i edit it, all perfect and good and right. Except that i forget to put 2006, instead i accidently put 06. So i go to change it, and i press submit. But then it says error again, and it tells me i have to change it to the right format, meaning change it to 2006. But i had already doen that! Then i look at the little box thingy and it still says 06. Thats what i mean.

I have this problem alot of "Firefox" . I think it might be a cookie that bungie embeds when you click submit . I have the IE View option where when i ban people i just swich over to IE. There is also a IE Tab option which is useful also.

Firefox can be glitchy with bungie.net as it was designed for internet explorer. Maybe you could try using internet explorer just to do that.

Most sites work best with IE. In future you should try using IE before writing a problem off as a site bug.

I sometimes get a similar bug on safari. Or I used to when I managed chapter blacklists. It didn't seem that big a deal
