is it the fact that the genre of it is war or the fact that so many people were drawn and addicted to the first one that they lost all sense of sociability around the outwitted Halo console. I say Halo 3 may be a mind-boggler but is it really worth destroying your social life for?

Uh, a game does not destroy ones sense of sociability. One has already a weak social sense and it caves in on itself when given a reason to.

Blaming games for people problems annoys the crap out of me. Games are the end, not the means.

No, if video games make you non social, your probably not social to begin with. I love video games and so do my friends, and that does not make us any more less social than the person next to me.

I also hate when people blame video games for violence. If you kill someone and you have played violent games before, violent video games are the least of your problems. My 2 cents.

bah

Yeah, my friends and I all get together to play video games. Halo brings us together in larger numbers than we'd otherwise be in. Sure, I'll occasionally go into the other room when the 4 on me game gets annoying and beat one of them, but they know it's all in fun...
