Subject: Is there a canon Noble 6?

By this I mean, concerning gender and appearance.

I understand that the basic, default 6 is a placeholder for us, the player, to go forth and create him/her, now it's slightly irritating me.

I want a canonical "proper" 6.

Can the Universe forum find me one?

We are all going to get banned aren't we?

I naturally assume white male to be canon.

I figured a thread like this would exist somewhere, I'll admit I looked for 2 minutes, then started a new one.

Wasn't that Thom?

Since N6 was a "Lone Wolf" I imagined his/her armor having the tactical/recon chest piece, giving him/her self reliance.

Bungie showed N6 as a default male in the VGA video. That's my reasoning

Bungie have said that the reason 6 is default is so that the players can mould their own 6.

What I want to know is, is there an established canon Noble 6.

"I may not be perfect, but always been true."

The canon Noble Six has the default armor except for the helmet, which has the up armored variant.

This. They did that with Thom as well, I think that the default Mark V[B] armour is symbolism for the role that B312 is taking on. Therefore it's the "canon" version.

In answer to your question...there is no canon Noble 6, he/she is whatever you want him/her to be. And I like it that way, it adds a nice touch to the Halo series. So yeah, the canon Noble Six is whatever you want.

Reach =/= canon

  • 04.28.2011 6:32 PM PDT

I remember one Weekly Update that showed noble 6 in default armour running, it was when Bungie was showing the characters to the community. Ill go with that.

If action figure realisation means anything canonically, then N6 is male, wears all default armour with the first helmet attachment.

Nice contribution, now would you kindly leave the thread and let people actually help with the question, because honestly nobody cares if you think Halo: Reach is canon or not.

Bioware has said that default Shepard is not canon, only default. The only 'canon' for Shepard is they follow the broad outline of the games that are going to be the same for everyone.

^This. You can think what you want, Cameo, but stating your OPINION in every thread that has anything to do with Reach is not going to change anyone's opinion. So basically you're resorting to trolling, all you're going to do is annoy people.

OT: I'm pretty sure that Bungie said in one of the weekly updates that there was no canon appearance for Noble Six >_> but I'm not entirely sure, so don't quote me on that.

Default armor, Mark V[B] Helmet with no attachments, gray with no emblem.

Basically, what you see when you select his Firefight voice.

On the back of the packaging for Emile's action figure it display N6 as having all default armour with the first helmet attachment.

Yes I'm fairly young. No, that doesn't mean I'm automatically dumber than you or have less life experience, thats just generally the case. I am not your general case.

I think its technically whatever Noble Six you created until further notice.
